- You can now backorder items that are temporarily out of stock but available for purchase on our web site.
- Orders are filled in the order in which they were received.
- Estimated ship time of backorders can be 1 – 6 months

- Non-refundable backorder placement fee of $10 applies to all backorders.
- If there is a price change before we ship, we will inform you of the price difference. You will then be charged or refunded the difference.
What is a Backorder Item?
Backorder Items are items that are temporarily out of stock but are available for purchase on our site. These items are very popular and sell out extremely quickly. For this reason we have allowed customers to reserve these items by placing a Backorder. Order and pay a non-refundable backorder fee of $10 and we will attempt to charge the full amount and ship it when it comes in. We fill all Backorders in the order they are received. By ordering early you will be earlier in line when it comes to getting a highly sought after item. We also ship Backorders in the order they were received. This means your order will ship out before orders for the same item placed once the item is in stock. Backorder Items can only be ordered on our web site to ensure your place in line. We cannot take phone orders for Backorder Items.
Do you require prepayment for a Backorder Item?
We no longer require full payment, but a non-refundable backorder placement fee of $10. We will attempt to charge the full amount ONLY when the item is restocked and if the charge was successful. If cost goes up between the time the order is placed and the time the product is ready to ship the difference must be paid.
Can I cancel an order for a Backorder Item?
Yes. Backorders may be cancelled at any time until the date they are restocked and enter into ‘processing’ status. Simply login to your account at anytime to cancel your order. Note that the backorder placement fee of $10 will NOT be refunded.
If I order multiple items, will the in-stock items ship immediately?
No. In Stock Items must be ordered separately. Backorder Items must be ordered separately. If you want in-stock items to ship immediately, you will need to place two orders. One for the in-stock items only and one for the Backorder Items.
When will my Backordered Item ship?
Backordered Items ship within two – three business days of arrival at our warehouse. Depending on the volume of orders, your place in line, and the manufacturer production schedules, ship time can be longer than estimated. We cannot guarantee a specific ship date. We will ship Backorder Items as soon as they are available. Orders are shipped in the order in which they are received.
Will I receive notification when my order ships?
Yes. You will receive an email confirmation when you place your order. You will also be notified by e-mail when your order ships including the tracking number. As a reminder, customers are responsible for tracking the arrival of their order. AnthonysFirearmWarehouse.com is not responsible for e-mail notifications that were not received. Common email problems include misspelled or outdated e-mail addresses, SPAM filtering, host service blocks or the customers’ inability to access their e-mails. Add [email protected] to your safe senders list to help ensure you receive our emails and they don’t get caught in a spam blocker or junk email folder.
What is a Backorder?
A backorder is an order that is placed a customer for a product that is temporarily out of stock.
Why should I place a backorder?
Here are some of the benefits of placing a backorder with us:
- Your backorder is processed immediately it is restocked. Provided you have given us your FFL information (required for firearms only).
- We honor the price of the item at the time the backorder was placed.
- You can cancel your backorder at any time (so long as the backorder is still on-hold status and not processing).
What is the estimated time of arrival for a backorder item?
There is no Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for backorder items. We work closely with manufacturers nationwide to ensure restock of backorders in a timely manner.
How do I know my position on the waitlist for a specific backordered product?
Can I combine in-stock and out-of-stock items when placing an order?
Backorders CANNOT be placed together with other items at are in-stock or out-of-stock. Backorders must be placed on a separate order.
How long will it take to process my backorder once the item is back in stock?
We process backorders automatically on the day we receive new stock. You will be duly notified by our system that your backorder is now processing. Please ensure that a complete FFL information have been provided for your backorder (required ONLY for firearm and NFA items), to avoid any delays.
When do I submit FFL for a firearm in backorder?
FFL should be provided immediately during/after checkout. This is to ensure that your backorder is processed immediately they are restocked. Kindly make use our FFL Finder to locate FFL dealers nearest to you. Or request your FFL dealer to send a copy their FFL license to us via email on [email protected]
Do you charge my card immediately or when the item is available?
We charge a non-refundable backorder placement fee of $10 at checkout. Once the item is restocked, we will attempt to charge the full amount and if successful, we will being processing the order for shipment. Note that you can always request for a cancellation at anytime from your My Account Page.
What are the acceptable payment options for a backorder?
We ONLY accept credit/debit card payment for backorders. Financing or Layaway payment methods are NOT available for backorders.
Can I cancel OR modify a product in backorder?
To cancel your backorder, simply go to My Orders Page and click Cancel.
If you would like to change the product in your backorder or request a specific modification (color, caliber, model, etc), please contact us.
