Even with an 11pm, you're going to get to Jeddah Road station probably around midnight, but I wouldn't be surprised at that potential. As the waterpark opens up, I expect it will tie into that also since that will have daytime operations.
I liked the later open since it might I could go...
I expect this will get better over time, though the park is working through this first season as a bit more of an experiment in terms of hours, close times, attendance, etc. Not ideal for those traveling internationally, but reaching out to the park helps (assuming they get your email-- there's...
I have a season pass to the park now. I've gone about 8 times now since previews back in December. The Ramadan hours were great. Only 9pm to 2am, but mostly dead. Very easy to lap rides. The park is really looking nice now-- they've added in a lot of the things that didn't make it for...
Ah that was the Thursday one. We got on just before that. They can do 2 relaunch attempts before having to evac. But the wind is definitely higher in the winter, so this is definitely not unexpected.
Definitely still a lot of teething problems on the trains too. Most I saw was 3 trains...
There were 2 rollbacks on my visit 2 days ago. I think this was one of those. We missed it by a bit but it was definitely cresting very slowly.
Quite an impressive ride nonetheless. Looking forward to taking many more laps and maybe one of these days finally catching a rollback.
It was surprisingly fun! The bouncing didn't do much for me, but the g's were strong. I also loved the Technical Park Heavy Rotation. You don't see too many of those these days.
The ops team leadership does come from a pretty strong background from UK theme parks to UAE and Malaysia-- although they still have a lot to learn, I'm hopeful it will end up being an alright park from an operations standpoint.
Today I visited the Mr. Beast park in Riyadh. Before we get started, let’s clear up a few things I’ve seen online:
- This is a popup carnival, featuring Sela portable rides and games
- It’s setup in the parking lot next to BLVD World
- It’s a temporary event and will close this month a less...
You'll have a good visit, I'm sure! I see Hollenblitz is at Winter Wonderland Kuwait this year-- I'm planning to swing up sometime maybe in April next year.
Yes, they have so much merchandise. There are things for pretty every ride, not just the coasters. When I go back I'll try and get some pictures of what all is available.
I'm still trying to work out how easily it would be to do rideshare out to the park. Depending on where you are in the city it's about a 30 minute to an hour drive out there. Uber out would be no problem-- the return I'm a little confused on with availability. I'll have to check the app next...
Aquarabia feels like it can meet that. The hotel will absolutely not be ready in January. That's probably a mid-year thing, I'd say.
Park is looking good, though. I visited yesterday, and just made a trip report in the TR section. Hope you enjoy!
My first visit to Six Flags Qiddiya came as part of their industry previews where they’re inviting partner companies’ employees to come experience the park. It’s limited attendance with limited attractions—16 of the 28 were available during this visit but others were testing throughout including...
This one is both a launch tower and drop tower so there's just more "stuff" inside the tower. This one also goes below ground level so there's some additional height there too that you can't see but the thing is surprisingly beefy. The decision to do split vehicles is to keep the ride in...
