Has any other water coasters have a trough style lift hill? Never seen that before, to stop the boats dripping on the track below or for a waterfall style effect lift hill?
They make around £5 million in pure profit each year, which to put into perspective is about 4x Drayton Manor’s profit.
The family all live on site and live and breath Paultons Park so can imagine they reinvest all profits back into the park, which yearly investments most likely show.
That’s looks like a very short and steep lift hill, thinking this could be a launched model from the footers. Station fly through/over too will be nice.
Anyone ridden a newer Mack Water Coaster? Only done Poseidon at EP and the restraints were very painful on the legs, pretty rough ride too...
That figure is surprising, £1.5 Million really? What do other parks in the UK generate, seems awfully small. Can't imagine much investment in the future with that kind of budget.
Could be launched but some people on here have seen the plans and said it was a standard lift hill, especially with Paultons height limit makes more sense to be a launched.
Yeah 180 degrees, was late when I wrote that 😂
What’s everyone’s layout prediction for 2027?
If it’s a standard Mack Water Coaster this is what I think it could look like. Station in red, turning right out of the station and into a lift hill rising up to 25 meters, cutting across the site at 45 degrees, before a 180 degree drop down, coming...
Correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t Paultons mention somewhere that they’ll be relocating Edge somewhere else in the park? Either as part of the 2027 expansion or another area in the years to come.
Aiming for LWV to be a park for all ages, all the family can enjoy, similar to Paultons Model.
Going to build it up to a more thrilling level over many years so they don’t alienate their existing market. Will supplement with travelling rides before we see permanent rides but aiming to be...
Great interview with James Mellor by LiftHillsAndThrills. Very excited to see what the Mellors do with the park over the coming years, bigger and permanent rides are on the horizon!
