I'll believe it when I see it. You know, like the 20% boost a roller coaster apparently can create. Appreciate John's hustle in keeping FunSpot relevant by building large roller coasters. But hard to tell where his pride ends and true relocation rumor begins.

Outside landscaping and thematic is always last to go in as they button up the site. Still hope for good aesthetics once they're at completion.

They're counting the opportunity cost and loss of having it closed for so long as well. :P

Still seeing if it would be in the cards with some other work travel - ironically doing a lot of current work with the City of Atlanta, including some needed site visits for EV charging work.

But really, food and concessions are the profit driver for the amusement park industry. Capitalism unfortunately rewards the park operator who figures out lowest cost of inputs/greatest profit maximization. A mildly spicy take to also add: those who celebrate meal plans or pre-paid food plans...

Taking an old, dilapidated roller coaster and going over it with new track and layout to create an entirely new roller coaster experience. Swear I've heard that before?? :P

Downside of late stage capitalism where one firm owns all the parks. What are you going to do, go to another Six Flags park??
