Big Dipper derailment at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

I actually wonder if it's something to do with the heat. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong and stuff, but I did notice some of the rides were struggling a bit when I was there during a heatwave. For example, the Big One was sending out empty trains for at least an hour and I noticed them having to change the wheels before the Your Experience Guide event (which I was attending) started the ERT. I noticed a bit of smoke in one of the pictures by the ruined track of the Big Dipper, so I suppose it's conceivable that might have something to do with it. But again, I'm just speculating. Above all else, I'm so relieved that no-one was hurt. Must've been a horrible shock for them all though.

My composite decking sort of exploded a bit so, possibly.
