Your most anticipated new coaster?

Following the official reveal of the new Efteling vehicles, i wondered what upcoming confirmed rides you are most anticipating?

For me:

1. Efteling Missie Luminar. I think this is going to be incredible. The theming will surely be world class and the unique flying style looks really fun. Current Vekoma and Efteling surely cannot miss.

2. Chessington Minecraft. I’m both excited and nervous with this one. It’s an unprecedented massive UK investment and a ride type i think will be very exciting, boosted by the fact we can visit fairly regularly. But I’m also concerned the ride will be short and the throughput/queues a nightmare.

3. Six Flags Bakunawa. Tempered by the fact i may never ride it but it does look utterly ridiculous!

4. Warner Bros Movie World Superman. As the second Vekoma FLY model with a Middle East budget at arguably the worlds best themed indoor park this was previously my number 1 but with it seemingly being an outdoor coaster that’s dampened my enthusiasm somewhat.

#1 Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift - Universal Studios Hollywood
This one looks to have a far stronger layout than the Florida one, with more interesting elements and a more interesting utilisation of the spin feature, but we'll need to wait and see how the Florida one actually functions.

#2 Bakunawa - Six Flags Great Adventure
You said it well, looks utterly ridiculous. Looks to be a genuine contender for the new scariest roller coaster in the world, and I have no choice but to say that I am so interested in how it will ride.

#3 Missie Luminar - Efteling
The Thrill Glider is such a promising new ride system, and I already love FLY at Phantasialand. I've also always wanted to see an attraction with motorbike-style seating that goes upside down, and this combined with Efteling's theming, will make this one that I won't want to miss.

#4 Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift - Universal Studios Florida
I'm a little more skeptical on the layout of this one, but I'm still excited to see how it runs.

#5 Palindrome - Cotaland
Looks to be a rearranged version of Mystic at Walibi Rhone-Alpes, which I already rate very highly. While it doesn't really do anything to set it apart, would you change a winning formula anyway?

#6 Unnamed Wooden Coaster - Park Mirakulum
This looks really cool, a properly solid-looking wooden coaster, and the perfect excuse to get people out to Czechia, which is one of my favourite countries and severely undervisited by enthusiasts.

#7 Unnamed Wooden Coaster - Magicland
We've seen a small preview of what this ride may entail, and I'm already super excited with what it might have to offer. It looks very sizeable and respectable.

#8 Midgardsormen - Djurs Sommerland
Looks to be a rearranged version of Mahuka at Walibi Rhone-Alpes, which I already rate very highly. While it doesn't really do anything to set it apart, would you change a winning formula anyway?

#9 Supersonic 1887 - Nigloland
Djurs Sommerland is not the only park breaking their "no inversions" curse next year. There's a little less to say about this ride than others on the list, but this is a pretty cool and unique take on the shuttle coaster formula.

#10 Unnamed Wing Coaster - Energylandia
While yes, some wing coasters have not fully won me over, I always dream for the day that one finally rivals Swarm, and maybe this could be it.

I'll be going to SF Great America in a few days so right now:

Maxx Force
Raging Bull (seems awfully divisive, mostly on the negative side but a good number love it)
Wrath of Rakshasa (will any dive manage to beat Sheikra/Griffon? Yet to find one, this seems like the best chance yet)

Wildcat's Revenge. What else to say? An RMC.

For 2027:
Alpen Fury. I got a few park plans but this is 100% my most anticipated coaster.

Wildcats Revenge is one of the best coasters I’ve been on. I’d say up there with SteVe and AlpenFury, so your in for a real treat

Honestly? Eagle's Pursuit (Waldameer), because it's one I know I will definitely get on next year. This and Werewolf Gorge (SFFT) both feel like great, new envelop pushing by Vekoma for how their Family sit-down coaster can have highly adapted layout; refreshing in an age that often feels wash, rinse, repeat layouts.

Some also saw my gripe for how the term "Family coaster" is becoming amorphous and meaningless (https://coasterforce.com/forums/thr...mack-rides-mine-train-2027.47698/post-1195785), but Eagle's Pursuit truly is still family-friendly, and packing in a cool layout with a 60 ft. drop, 48 MPH max speed.

As a nearby historic +1 to Waldameer, the Time Warp (Funtimes Fun Park) Herschell Mite Mouse is also a cool, new addition for next year!

I am most looking forward to the new Alton Towers indoor ride as am intrigued as to what it could be.I think it may be called Project horizon or something like that?I haven't been able to visit Alton or any other theme parks for some time but am looking forward to taking on rides like Hyperia at Thorpe Park and Oblivion at Alton Towers

Yep, UK resident indeed.

I'm not sure Alton Towers project qualifies as an "upcoming confirmed ride" at this point. There's never been an official announcement and it has essentially been in limbo for 5 years now with no construction taking place. My feeling is the essence of the project became Minecraft at Chessington.

I only saw Alton Towers project mentioned in a couple of videos so don't know details.It would be a shame if it didn't happen as Alton Towers has been quiet with new rides lately and needs something to equal Hyperia.I did see something about a possible standup coaster at Alton in another part of park?I may have read it on here.It would be interesting to see how that compared to Shockwave at Drayton Manor(before it became a sitdown)standup coasters though while good fun are nothing special.Have you ever visited Drayton?I remember riding Shockwave about five times in a row(my aunt was as up for it as I was)and was fun but by about my fifth ride I felt a little on the wobbly side lol
The water Coaster being built at Paulton Park also looks like it could be good fun.I do love water coaster type rides and feel we need more of them in general!They should build some scary ones

I've not seen any rumours of a stand-up coaster for Towers. I'd be very surprised as that type of coaster isn't very popular anymore. Personally in terms of new attractions i think Alton Towers needs more indoor rides... certainly an indoor rollercoaster would be nice!

I have visited Drayton but only recently so went on The Wave rather than Shockwave.

The water coaster at Paultons does look good, i'm sure they'll do a good job theming it too. The similar ride at Efteling is one of my favourites, highly recommend it if you get the chance to visit!
