With the extremely rapid growth, investments & improvements across the park this year, I'm starting to think about if the new owner may be overspending a little on new additions and refreshes within the park. He seems incredibly passionate, but is it the correct financial decision to revitalise...
There is no doubt that this ride is going to run like ass, but that doesn't stop this from being one of my most anticipated coasters of 2026. A few years ago, I joked about a giga dive coaster, thinking to myself "hahaha they would NEVER do that", and here we are. I'd really like to get on it...

The park has had some solid new additions this year. Including a Star Flyer, Ferris Wheel and two coasters - one being a Wacky Worm and the other being a Spinning Coaster which used to operate at Ocean Beach as Crash Test.

Stardust Racers have been combined into one spot just for this list.
#1 Stardust Racers - make the onboard audio consistently work on every ride
#2 Hyperion - make the lockers free
#3 Toutatis -...
I guess a silver lining is it's pretty easy to just ignore the closed coasters and pretend they're not there, especially on a day like this where the park closes at 6pm for some stupid reason so if they were open we'd have to sacrifice riding anything more than once in order to fit everything...
With Drakon opening, I thought it would be an appropriate time to do this.
1. Flucht von Novgorod - Hansa Park - front right for best ride
2. Saw - The Ride - Thorpe Park - considerable pothole at the bottom of the drop in the front, but fun otherwise
3. Speed - Oakwood Theme Park - second half...
1. Junker - PowerPark - the most complete layout, and the hangtime moment on the loop is excellent
2. Karacho - Tripsdrill - not a fan of the roll before the launch, but the beginning & end are powerful and great
3. Pitts Special - PowerPark - shockingly really fun, more bark than bite
4. Mystic...
I think it is the most well-managed park in the UK and by far the one with the most promising future, but it lacks "return value". Despite all of the expansions, the only time I return to the park is when they build something new, and the same cannot be said for a place like Thorpe where I'm...
At Thorpe Park, Depth Charge has now had its daily opening pushed forwards to 9.30am, which also coincides with Launch Pad and Neptune's Beach opening today.
