I know you can't judge from a video online, but it's hard to know what to make of it tbh? Somehow to me it seems both well themed and utterly soulless at the same time.
I mean I'm not strictly saying they weren't... heavily inspired by Vekoma's model, but it's just an overbank, right? It's kinda the most extreme looking element you can plonk on one of these family inverts without inverting fully or having big drops etc.
Encanto and Indiana Jones in Animal Kingdom? What has either IP got to do with the preservation of nature and the planet? I mean, I won't happen anyway, but still...
Visited Mingoland for the first time yesterday, the addition of Sik finally tempted me…
SPITED. The coaster never opened, seems there’s something wrong with a wheel assembly on the back car, they’ve called for an engineer from “Slovakia” but assuming she meant and Intamin one from Switzerland...
Not a new addition to the park but unsure where to mention it. I'm sure many have already seen, but Phantasialand is mid way through uploading soundtracks to Spotify and other services. Worth listening if you haven't already, they are truly fantastic.
To my knowledge, no Mack coasters of this type have featured scoops/a real splashdown where contact is made with the water. I imagine it'll be a Hulk/Shambhala style splashdown if there is one, which would of course operate for a year before not working indefinitely.
Paint job is awful but I'm glad to see it coming together. I do fear that the repainted station will still look dated against the new track though, but I'll hold judgement on it for now.
So following your logic, if I were at a comedy show and I walked out half way through because I wasn't comfortable with the jokes being said, I should feel bad because I'm "privileged" to be able to afford the seats?
Nope, sorry. Not how the world works. Sadly there's not really such thing as...
Everyone is perfectly within their right to leave/not visit parks because of their ethics and beliefs, to say otherwise is a bit... dumb?
Whilst I wouldn't have personally walked out because of the sponsorship after already handing over the entry fee, each to their own. Also I think you're...
I think 99.9% of guests at Europa Park would rather pay the (already expensive) entry fee and see sponsorships, most of which they probably will not even acknowledge anyway.
I agree that sponsorships do cheapen the aesthetic a little, though. The Nordstream sponsorship wasn’t a great look at...
I'm no expert but I imagine a coaster that looks quite daunting but Is actually suitable for a large audience would be perfect for a Universal park? The parks are built for families but with more thrills than a Disney park, so a big Mack launch coaster sounds like a hit tbh. Big, fast, but...
I'll definitely swallow my pride and visit Thorpe to ride this, but I do fear that it won't be good enough to warrant many returns visits. They need a big new coaster but the rest of the park just needs a complete overhaul to make it a pleasant destination in my opinion.
Agreed. I think those above who are saying otherwise might have forgotten that you enter it banked to the left already, and banked to the right upon exit, making it appear more drawn out.
