Hmm I'm hoping they're going to tear down the station and rebuild it but I guess that might be slightly trickier with the zero-g roll back in? Saying that, I don't know how much they'd need to crane in to do that, not an expert!
It's rather brilliant isn't it! I do actually think it would be my number 2 if it wasn't for the trim!
Personally I've only had three number ones. Taron from 2019 to 2023, then Kondaa for a day, before I discovered RtH the following morning!
In terms of the coaster itself, Ride to Happiness is my current number one, followed by Kondaa, Taron, Toutatis and Gotham City Escape.
I think Taron will always be my number one at heart though, there's just something about it. It feels so epic.
3 trains on GCE all day, quite bad stacking and 80 second plus dispatches. Obviously 80 seconds isn’t the worst operations ever but that’s not great at all if you ask me!
Also the preshow is dire and they’d honestly be better off scrapping it!
Superman running one train for the first few...
So got three rides on Gotham City Escape today, front, back and middle rows. Went into it not expecting much after seeing the testing footage on here but blimey, what a ride!
First launch really kicks, far more than Taron’s first launch. The theming before this launch is decent and there’s a...
I think rather than an obvious Egyptian theme, it'll be something more ambiguous perhaps? I'm thinking something along the lines of the coaster being a huge structure built by an ancient civilisation, something of legend like the Colossus of Rhodes etc. Those hieroglyphs are hinting something...
Trying to book tickets for the weekend after, but the website doesn't like my UK postcode :( Anyone else having issues with the site? Or is it easier to book third party?
I love American patriotism like this, it's SO cringe bless them. Glad this coaster has found a new home though, almost always a good thing (bar SLC relocations)
Definitely doesn't look awful but I can't help but feel some variations in height would have done wonders. Currently it's pretty apparent what it's hiding!
I swear I remember that years ago, Freischütz at Bayern Park was said to do this when it rolls through the station at the end of the ride. Is this true? I can't seem to find any evidence of it now.
Edit- Though I'm not certain on the reliability of the source... There's an article on Park World...
