Parques Reunidos, Parque de Atracciones being the worst offender, have some of the worst guest service policies in the entire industry.
Some years ago we went to guest services to complain about a safety issue we encountered during our visit, with pictures to prove it, and their response was to...
Plus they already have a second gate in Warner Beach, which is still to be developed into a full-day water park.
As you mention, it is a much better option to round up their current line-up. Also, I wouldn't read too much into the Avatar-esque simulator: they state they are interested in the...
No, I really meant the only big B&M operating with THREE trains that is only 7-cars long.
Typically, medium or small-sized B&M can run 7-car trains (Batman clones, Dæemonen, Nemesis Inferno, some stand-ups) but all big B&M (with 3 trains and MCBR) feature 8-car long trains EXCEPT FOR Khan. I am...
This.
Besides, Spain has two distinct sitdown B&M coasters: Superman at Parque Warner (floorless) and Khan at PA. Why would you want to convert an already amazing sitdown into a floorless, when Superman is already good? Keeping Khan a traditional sitdown is good, both from a maintenance and...
Right now, the Spanish Thoosie Twitter rumour mill is going crazy, with people claiming Universal is coming back to take over PA to this new rumour that Dragon Khan might be receiving a seriously needed TLC in the upcoming seasons.
The rumour has some potential truth to it since as of late...
Well, it's not that B&M haven't ripped off, Zamperla, who had already ripped off Intamin's train design, who themselves had originally ripped their LSM train from Mack.
It seems only fair for Mack to circle back to B&M or Jinma xD
Not to be disrespectful about the news, but does anybody know what the status of the coaster will be in 2024? I am planning a trip to the park in June next year and I would love to ride it again, since I loved it back when I went on it 8 years ago.
Regular Schwarzkopf looping trains don't look half bad when using a conventional car configuration.
This train, on the other hand, is made of donor parts, like Mindbender used to run at Galaxy Playland, which was very odd as well (in fact, I would even go as far as saying that All-American...
Yeah, one of those new Suspended Thrill Coasters like HüK. It fits the bill perfectly: an inverted coaster yet not as costly as a brand B&M, and geared towards a family-thrill market.
Come on, Cedar Flags!
Two 16-seater trains is not good at a Disney park. For reference, when I worked at Magic Kingdom, our roller skater, with 2 trains and 16 seats each reached a maximum of around 730 pph, and that was with good crews pumping trains out and a short layout.
Literally, what you see is what you get. I thought there would be more dark show scenes in the mountain or even a second indoor coaster portion.
Nope, just a glorified roller skater with terrible capacity. Disney at its finest.
That's the logic everyone thinks the park should follow, yet they are convinced that milking their guests dry will be better in the long run. What's sad is that people, no matter how bad the experience, are likely to come back for their yearly local theme park fix because they will tend to think...
The 1,500 pph figure was never achieved, as that was the targeted capacity running all 3 trains, which was done in its first season for a few days before it was deemed too costly.
The problems with ops are so engrained within PA structure that I am afraid it would take more than Universal to...
Yet Parc Asterix has Toutatis, with a very similar ride configuration to Pantheon, which regularly runs 3 trains. It depends on the willingness of the park to afford and extra train and how much they care about efficiency.
To me, the deal-breaker in terms of efficiency with two trains will be...
