    CoasterForce’s Favourite Dutch Rollercoasters

    1. Untamed, Walibi Holland - yh, duh 2. Troy (Troy) - haven't ridden it since I think 2018? But it was still awesome, especially at night as DesTroy! 3. Baron 1898 - short, sweet and to the point with some of the best theming on a coaster in the world (I said what I said). 4. Gold Rush - a...

Most surprising addition to a theme park?

I think before that though B&M had always been associated with big and intense coasters - something on paper than just doesn't fit the magical family brand of Efteling. Of course, in hindsight we can see it fits perfectly but when it was announced it felt a bit like...Oblivion for Efteling? What??

    Gigs 'n' Tours

Yh I would say so haha! And they're playing a few festivals here I think? The thing I've got tickets to says 'special guests' will appear and they're in the UK around that time so I'm hoping maybe we get a sneaky set or at least a song or two? Who knows.

Most surprising addition to a theme park?

Efteling getting a B&M dive coaster. Seems part of the furniture now but at the time it was announced it was really shocking!

    Tulleys Farm Shocktoberfest

Yh I get you, it's not unheard of for them to spend the cash though so I can hope haha! And YES The Tunnel - I knew there was one I was missing. Four iterations then.

How do you visit a new park?

Vaguely yes. Or I watch vlogs or just figure out locations from photos, park websites etc.

    Tulleys Farm Shocktoberfest

Do we know if it's properly being replaced or they're just tarting it up like they do every few years? I think I've done this 'location' in three iterations: Wood Stock, The Colony and The Wreckoning. I think Wood Stock was probably the stronget if memory serves me right, but they all suffered...

How do you visit a new park?

Has the park got creds? If so, where are the creds? When I arrive, I head to the creds first. I've usually researched which creds are in the park and where they're located so I don't waste much time looking for said creds. It's really stressful and I hate it but it's who I am and I don't think...

    Walt Disney World

I think that’s kind of what my post was getting at - to me this feels **really** niche, to the point where I find it hard to believe there’s mass appeal for such an experience? I’m sure I’ll be proved wrong, I don’t think Disney would do all this without having the research to back it up, I...

    Walt Disney World

The whole concept just seems like a claustrophobic hell from start to finish? Reminds me of that conversation we were having a few weeks back about immersion - when does the idea of immersion overtake, y'know, comfort and things actually being fun/good? Every image whether it be sneak peeks or...

Does GPS/Satnav sometimes think you’re a park employee?

I worked at Thorpe Park for five years and every day using Google Maps (for traffic reasons) it would tell me the park wouldn't be open yet if I arrived for 9AM. Yes thank you Google Maps, I think I've realised that by now.

    "Now Showing"

I watched Steel Magnolias last night, because it's on my list of films that I probably should wathc just becuase it's quite well known. And, what the hell is this movie? Is it a crazy comedy with women being wild and OTT? Is it a melodrama? Something else? The tone swings sooooo wildly with...

Favourite roller coaster at Walt Disney World?

Jesus, it's only when you step back and look at it like this you realise what a game-changer TRON is going to be. Anyways, Everest. Obviously.

    Kiddie Coaster Etiquette

When we visited Holiday World a few years back @Chris Brown decided to sneak off whilst we were getting food to nab himself the kiddie cred (I already had it and Conor didn't care). Obviously he stood out like a sore thumb and started getting some increasingly concerned questions from some...

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

RIP stupid ride. In all seriousness, this is absolutely gutting news. I'm not a big one for flat rides, but this is surely the most intense and memorable I've ever ridden and the park will be slightly less fab without it.

    Favourite kind of sausage?

Some of the weird **** I've seen trying to pass off as 'steak' is just offensive - Watermelon 'steak', Cauliflower 'steak'. Please no, just call it something else. I don't get this obsession with being like IT'S BACON! when it's just...absolutely not bacon. (And yes I understand why from a...
