I cannot understand why Thorpe does not make more use of the water they have surrounding the park. A flyer would be good with a 150ft drop when all you would see would be water and then you pull up at the last minute and then runout over the lake about 4ft above the water.

I can see why Chessie won. I prefer Alton, but my wife, who is disabled, gets bored after spending 4 hours watching me go on Nemesis etc. At least at Chessie she can enjoy all the themeing, the Zoo,feed the birds. After a day we both come out feeling like WE have had a good day. We went 9 times...

The first time i visit a park is for the coasters, however if i dont like everything about the park, atmosphere,flats etc i will not go again. A good park has to have more than just some good coasters.
