Ok, one more for you guys.
Here's a POV of probably the most famous "classic" coaster of all time - the Coney Island Cyclone.
Those of you who have been on the Cyclone know that it can be quite a turbulent ride! We were fortunate enough to able to mount our cameras onto this coaster for...
Next was Hansa Park...the "original Legoland." And yes we know that this park isn't part of "Scandinavia" it was close enough to where it was easy to hit while touring the Scandi parks.
The park though, is undergoing many changes and has vastly improved since our last visit in 2005.

Hey everyone!
A couple of years ago we started to develop a DVD series called "Roller Coasters in the RAW" which was aimed at people who were just interested in the raw coaster footage we shoot. It's mostly un-edited, without any music, no commentary, etc.
Recently we have started to post...
^ Yeah, that was certainly a bummer to hear they are removing the brakemen and getting new trains next year.
Perhaps they can sell the old trains to the efforts at Margate.

Apologies for the lack of updates the past couple of weeks. We spend 21 days in China and Japan (those updates will be coming soon!)
Anyway, here is Bakken!
Just in case you forgot what park we were at today.
We arrive at the park and a pretty girl shows up to greet us. What could...
For those of you who enjoyed this trip report, we are off to China and Japan again!
We will post more reports when we get back, but if you want to follow us while we are on the trip, we will upload and many photos and update as often as we can on FaceBook:

Today was Tivoli Gardens. The park was AWESOME! They treated us like royalty!
Our day started off with an hour ERT session on the "Rutchebanen" or the Scenic Railway...the classic traditional woodie built in 1914.
We then got to take a very in depth behind-the-scenes look at the ride...
I think she's actually close to about 40 credits now!
There were a few others we could have taken her on, but we thought it best not to since they were a little aggressive for her.

Bon Bon Land really is one of the weirdest parks out there! It's awesome though. Not only does it have a strange theme but the rides are GREAT!
I will say though that the "potty humor" did seem slightly toned down from our last version, but it was still there.
Might be due to the new...
Hey everyone!
This year's "Big Europe Trip" for Theme Park Review was Scandinavia! We visited pretty much every major (and some not-so-major) park in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway.
There are a TON of photos (and we also took a lot of HD video that will be posted soon), so be...

We have posted some of the HD footage we shot yesterday here:

I included some of the park's POV, however it wasn't in HD and it's only a few clips here and there.

The question was asked during the Q&A presentation about flat rides. Jay Thomas said they removed 4 flat rides last year as part of a plan to cut down on "older rides" that had low ridership and required a lot of maintenance.
They have a 5-year plan that will replace those rides. "Please be...
^ No, you're not the only one. If you look at the rankings of most GCI coasters they seem to fall in that "solid B+" category. Which on one hand is great that they seem to be so consistent making "very good" coasters, but I do with sometimes they would do some things that really push the...
