Small News From The Theme Park Industry

Found this. Only available in Dutch, Flemish, French and German. Premiering in 3 days. Something about Rookburgh or just the hotel, I assume. (sorry if this was posted before, must have mist it)

Nigloland | Krampus Expedition | Mack Water Coaster | 2021

The theming is actually quite nice The slow end bit of the ride could benefit from some sort of moving theming. To make it more exciting. But the rock work, wooden bridge and buildings looking good.

    Tripsdrill | Hals-Über-Kopf & Volldampf | Vekoma STC & Family Boomerang Coaster

Wow, that looks really good. Awesome theming and even better landscaping. I can only hope my homepark wins the jackpot and put a set of these in between the major projects.

    Efteling Expansion + New Coaster

Totally agree here. Even 2023 sounds too far away. But Fons (Park director) just posted a Youtube video, telling us there will be no investments 'right now'. Unfortunately. Edit: The Dutch site with the ooo's has had contact with the park and they confirmed that construction will start in...

    Efteling Expansion + New Coaster

I think, with all the openings of new coasters nearby, Efteling needs (my opinion) to present plans for the new coaster. Enthousiasts are waiting for this for over 5 years. Probably, I don't think before the summer ends. Second thing, I still hear rumours that the coaster parts are purchased...

    Efteling Expansion + New Coaster

Well, the green light is finally here. Dutch gouvernement organisation 'Raad van State' had time to review the 15 'defects' in the plan. And today at 10:15am local time, the gave the green light for the expansion. As my homepark and fan of this park, I couldn't be happier for this. But all...

    Fantastic old coaster footage/pics

This looks fun to be honest. Wondering why they stopped making them. And could they make new ones..

Grona Lund to Expand for 2024?

Great to see they are not sitting still. Looks like a fair good expansion with room for future additions. Also good food and drink opportunities added. And the boardwalk is a nice touch. (I used to work with Swedish in my team, nice to hear the language again).

Parc du Bocasse | Orochi | Vekoma SFC | 2021

They putting in a lot of work. I like how it turns out so far. Wasn't expecting rock work/ faux tree work at all.

SFGAdv | Jersey Devil Coaster | RMC Raptor | 2021

The layout of Stunt Pilot looks more exciting than this one to me. Ok, the zero-g stall and roll looking great. But I guess I expected way more. And what is up with the little weird twisty thing on top of the dive loop? Edit: The back seat is going to be the best I suppose.

    Silverwood | Stunt Pilot | RMC Raptor | 2021

After seeing this one build. I have to change my mind on these coasters. I actually quite like this version. And the white and red combo is really nice.

Plopsaland de Panne | The Ride to Happiness | Mack Xtreme Spinning Coaster | 2021

Looks really good though. Love the track colour. The spinning bit before launch.. Not a fan of the jojo. But the rest looks great.

Plopsaland de Panne | The Ride to Happiness | Mack Xtreme Spinning Coaster | 2021

This coaster will be put on the list of one to ride, after everything clears. But I think it is the wrong coaster and the wrong theme for the park. The Dance music theme in a Plopsa Park, I don't know what they were thinking. This theme should be in Walibi Holland. And the coaster is much more...

    Deno's Wonder Wheel Park | Phoenix | Vekoma Suspended coaster | 2021

This one looks fun. And I agree about the colours. Red is ok, yellow could be done. But together, it ain't pretty.

    Gröna Lund | Monster | B&M Invert | 2021

I agree. I put my regards on this in the uncommon opinion topic. I really dislike all those camera tricks on POV's. And the same as crashcoaster. People seem to like it. Edit: I do appreciate the pov though! And I do like this coasters. From the video's I seen, this is a must visit for me.

    Toverland's Expansion Plan

Agree, But a drop-tower standing in the water, would be something.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom | Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster | Skywarp

You needed earplugs within close range of this coaster. As far as I can tell by all the video's I've seen.

Dreamworld Australia | Steel Taipan | Modified Blue Fire Clone | 2021

What was that park in Sweden (I believe) that has two coasters of the same manufacturer and the same type of track and colour side by side. I don't think here anyone will be confused, but another colour makes the coaster more unique. Curious about this one, I liked blue fire in EP.

Walibi Belgium | Kondaa | Intamin Mega Coaster | 2021

Great POV, I like the specs in it. it is actually nicely fast. I thought it would be slower. Even the cobra is 65km/h. I do gonna say something controversial, I think. But after seeing pov's of Taron, Taiga, Helix, Monster, Abyssus, Lech, Hals-über-Kopf, to name a few. I really wanted to get on...

    Toverland's Expansion Plan

You are right about the name change indeed. The interview came out little more than a year after opening the new bits. The logo change was a year-ish before opening the new area's. And I agree with you comment on that. It does look blend. To shake things off: I would have called the indoor area...
