A couple of notes on the situation;
There's been no FAA permits filed to my knowledge, which would have to come very far in advance of work happening on a 400-ft-tall structure near an airport. Demolition permits haven't gone up yet either, but that bit is irrelevant. If anything was happening...
Per a new Six Flags release it seems like this is officially 2026, to no surprise. Construction site has been kinda frozen for awhile now. The wording however is interesting;

Big bombshell press release about Six Flags' capital investments for 2026. Here be this;
I mean, I wasn't down to being proven right this early, but yeah ok. Was really looking forwards to the speculation. Question now is if they do a giga dive.

Well here's something concrete and non-rumored.
Demolition permits were filed this morning for Parachute Tower, Twister... and Green Lantern.
Nothing on Kingda Ka yet.

Well was poking around my archives this evening and remembered that Over Texas had jumped on the survey bandwagon back in August.
Three ideas, all apart of a common roster that Cedar Fair leadership is hooked on for some reason; a indoor/outdoor dark ride coaster, Zamperla family thrill...

Anyways it seems like...
Tonight we just received confirmation that Six Flags Over Texas has suddenly permanently closed their Superloop and La Vibora, the last of the Intamin Bobsleds, with no warning or official release at all. Granted, the latter was in horrible shape but still.
I would mentally prepare, is all.
That is if you’re not Canadian like me and hurt your wallet at US parks…
Not getting into it too much, let’s say there was a high profile YouTuber who exclusively covers the park that had a pretty long streak of grossly inappropriate behaviour and cyberbullying towards minors and other media...
Coaster Studios, you don't say...
The Kumba rumor began with claims that it was only on one train when they were indeed running multiple at that time. In terms of the Ride of Steel bull**** they spread a bunch of extremely obvious misinformation about the train situation as well.
Face it...

Annnddd we are now under construction. Colours and track style were accurate, Mack spinner seems to fit the bill but dare I say it's custom? Don't recognize the support structure;

Four houses confirmed for 2025; Exorcist: Believer, Scarecrow: The Reaping, Universal Monsters, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Proven concepts, all familiar to the brand. They're playing it safe (and rightfully so).
The Mattel Adventure Park we all know and love, pushed back again to 2025. The March presser linked above was still holding out for a soft opening this year but unsurprisingly that won't be the case...
