Sort of but not totally. I loved and enjoyed the Surf coaster but my partner hated it and found it really uncomfortable.

As always I think Alton has the most potential. It's just such a stunning location and if they can add some more indoor dark rides/coasters and get it properly tidied up it'll be a great theme park again.

Wild Mouse at Blackpool definitely had that vibe. The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley always had me worrying how the hell it didn't derail.

That's annoying then! There was two of us at the back and probably 6 other people on the front of the train but the staff just kept the airgates open and wandered about for ages before deciding to close the airgates, put the rest of the restraints down and dispatch. That doesnt surprise me :(

Visited Flamingo Land at the weekend and have to say it feels really neglected. Sik was walk on except they would lock you into the restraints and then you'd be sat there locked in for 10 minutes before enough people were on the train for them to send it.The rear couple air gates were not...

Yeah I get the feeling you're right on that - although I think The Ultimate did a lot of good for the park, but probably not enough to counteract the cost of it! I think The Ultimate was initially a fairly cheap project that then escalated into a bit of a nightmare for them to get fully finished...

I get the vibe they'll end up moving everything down to one end and they'll make the Ultimate End more of a leisure place for the log cabins etc

Such a depressing sight. There was always something so special about The Ultimate. Everything about it was just different, and wierd. And that big wooden station that could hold 2 full trains is really cool.

Imagine complaining about someone else complaining. If you're going to add a cool effect why not do it properly. It looks great but just seems unfinished.

As usual Merlins amazing attention to detail and great planning. FFS Yeah it looks to be a great idea but not executed that well. Why don't all of them move? Why do they move like an 80's ghost train effect and not something made in 2024? Every tooth moving randomly would look amazing.
