    A coaster from 0 to 10

What about Rougarou was unbearable? I enjoyed it a lot, but thought it would be too neutral of a ride to be seen as anything less than mediocre, so am just curious what your thoughts were?

Will Disney always remain the top dog of the theme park industry?

I would say it is absolutely within their control. They are easily at the top of the theme park world with a brand reputation so strong that they can ride off of it for years without ever needing to intervene and consider "sustaining" themselves. Though, at the moment they seem to be cashing in...

CWOA | Mandrill Mayhem (World of Jumanji) | B&M Wing Coaster | 2023

How can they be on track? They have to put up the supports first! ...I'll see myself out.

    Moon Dubai

Neither this or the line look practical in any sense. I would NEVER want to live in somewhere like the line as it looks like a scaled up version of the kowloon city alleyways with a bit of judge dread misery. But I would love to see them as a tourist, and its not my money being wasted on these...

CWOA | Mandrill Mayhem (World of Jumanji) | B&M Wing Coaster | 2023

Is there currently any reason why this would be a wing coaster instead of a traditional b&m with a Mr Freeze-esque transfer station? Other than the in-line twist, there isn't anything specifically characteristic of a wing coaster, and a transfer track at the station would easily resolve the...

Fun Spot Atlanta | ArieForce One | RMC IBox Steel Coaster | 2023

Is there a reason why they've poured the foundations in multi-support "pads" rather than one individual foundation for each support a la Gci supports? My only guess is that the time saved from pouring one slab for several supports overcomes the cost of concrete. But I dont know how the cost of...

Knott’s Berry Farm | MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress | Schwarzkopf Launch Refurb | 2025?

Unless Indrivetec have a whole new system that doubles the acceleration, I really doubt they'll be able to retrofit dragster with LSMs. Unless there is a multi-year refurbishment with LSMs that extend past the launch straight and up the tower, it wouldn't be financially viable.

Is RMC-style “funkiness” always a good addition to a ride?

I haven't been able to ride an RMC yet, and Icon is the closest emulation I've gotten to their "wackiness". Though I thought I'd chime in with the most lukewarm take in the world and say it looks like an awesome ride style that is nearly universally praised. But like every other element type, it...

Dollywood | Big Bear Mountain | Vekoma Family Launched Coaster | 2023

What happened to their claim it would be with a manufacturer they hadn't worked with before? Is there evidence that this is no longer the case?

Walt Disney Studios Park | Avengers Assemble: Flight Force | R'n'RC retheme | 2022

Instead we'll have the worlds first "Turning red" experience! Themed to a generic suburb with an 'authentic' budget, and is only accessible with proof of a disney+ membership.

    YAY Merlin!

We had a great day at Thorpe last Saturday, despite the crowds at the start of the day, the queuetimes were pretty low throughout (Only colossus and tidal wave stayed above an hour all day). The operations were fantastic on the coasters, dispatches were fast and we only saw nemesis break down...

    A coaster from 0 to 10

This was kinda hard to do as most rollercoasters are fantastic in their own ways: 10 - Top Thrill Dragster, Cedar point 9 - Stealth, Thorpe park 8 - Olympia/Munich Looping 7 - Dwervelwind, Toverland 6 - Infusion, Blackpool Pleasure beach 5 - Hollywood Rip ride rockit, Universal Orlando 4 -...

Cedarwood Rumbler - GG Mega coaster

My first upload on here and it's a reimagining of the first NoLimits project that I uploaded back in 2010. Now it is a Voyage-inspired woodie with a longer, more intense layout; set in the Pacific northwest alongside a river. This ended up being the largest project that I've done as I am still...

    YAY Merlin!

It might not strictly count here as its not a theme park. But we went to Warwick Castle last week and had an amazing time. The place is immaculately kept, the castle itself is fantastic, the access you get is surprisingly great, and the extra attractions are all very fun and charming. Other than...

Tokyo Disneyland | Space Mountain (rebuild) | Unknown | 2027?

The concept art looks AMAZING. Given how the disneyland retrack was, I wonder how much of the actual coaster will change? Or if it will just have operational & theming upgrades.

What is your favourite traditional (non-RMC or Intamin prefab) wooden coaster?

I would pretty much say the same. Wicker man is the most fun I have had with a traditional wooden coaster, but I would say that The Voyage looks like the pinnacle of wooden rollercoaster design so far. Its layout is incredible, and I would bet an embarrassing amount that it would comfortably be...

ENSO; “Icon with a twist” opening at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in 2022

The £15 price tag, the lack of clarity for booking times, and the fact they only bought one of these cars. Doesn't this seem to be a bit of a penny-pinching investment? This is as close to a minimum viable product that I've seen them do (given the marketing). How is the financial side of bpb...

What is the best relocated coaster operating today?

Does Munich/Olympia looping count? If so, definitely that.
