But what if the swarm put it there? :P
EDIT: Ninja'd. Should have read the comments.
Anyway, people should be happy that there is a helicopter in the first place, we could of ended up without one, even if doesn't *really* look broken, yet.
Just to repost what I posted on another forum:
Thorpe park updated their stats for THE SWARM, it shows that the helicopter is confirmed, but more importantly...
DID THEY JUST SAY, FLAMING FIRETRUCK?!!?!
http://www.thorpepark.com/rides/the-swarm.aspx
(just noticed that the plane is in the water on that picture, probably made a while ago before they had to change where it went?)
Were people not complaining about the fuselage and back end of the wing looking too clean and new? Look at it now! All dirty and crash scene looking!
Although, the main reason was probably as a sign that theming has FINISHED! All they have to do now is general landscaping, I would think anyway. :D
'Thorpe Parks newest ride, The Swarm is to feature On Ride video's of its victims as they brave the ride, and Thorpe Park have asked for their biggest fans input into the final product, you!'
Yeah, they released this a view months ago .. I guess there will be. :)
Oh, I wonder what new updates will greet me on this fine boxing da--OH LORD. THEY'VE RESULTED TO MAKING TERRIBLE JOKES AND ARGUING OVER HOW TO TYPE THE RIDES NAME!

Re: The Swarm - B&M 'Wing-Rider', Thorpe Park 2012
When they said it was a tight near miss, I didn't expect them to be telling the truth! ;O
EDIT: I spy with my little eye, something beginning with F...
I really like the idea of a Coaster Maintenance Car, not sure how it would work, but if perfected could be used on a lot of roller coasters around the world.
I really can't wait for any of them, 2012 is going to be an AMAZING year for roller coasters. If I had to choose though, I'd say The Swarm just because it's probably going to be the only one I'll be able to ride next year. :)
Re: Apocalypse - B&M stand-up for Six Flags America
Woops, I fell so embarrassed, when i posted that last night I didn't look at the ride properly.
What I meant was that the first drop on both Apocalypse and The Swarm look alike.
But then again, alot of rides start of like this and I...
