Those trains are still ugly as all hell, but I'm hugely in favour of this change - never liked the stand-up trains and I think stand-up coasters as a whole moreorless died a death due to not working/not being very good.

I usually get an Alton pass, as I live less than half an hour from the place and it's nice to be able to head up when I'm at a loose end. Obviously this year I knew I'd be at both Thorpe and Lego at least once, so I got the gold option. Will I renew it next year? No idea.

Nothing wrong with Silver Star, it just doesn't have the 'oh, my ****ing God, WOW' factor that usually comes with that ride type. It's better than Goliath at La Ronde, for instance.
