This is a lovely idea - and I'd definitely use the opportunity to get back to my favourite zoo as well... but I've just booked a birthday trip to Florida, which will take most of my money. I will assess nearer the time though, as I'm tempted and Jan/Feb are always very slow months for us guys.

Thanks to being spited by the two biggies stateside, Maverick is apparently the only addition since my last post. Could be great if they put comfortable trains on it and the launch isn't as unpleasant as many of the older models, but I'm only going to slot it in at #6... Juvelen probably...

They really should just have got a nice reliable B&M, but that would have meant putting their hands in their pockets ;) I quite enjoyed my lie in and tonight we're having curry. In all seriousness though, I do hope this is a success and I'll see you lot sooner rather than later :)

Feel free to take this with a pinch of salt; just spoken to an old colleague who seemed to think the staff cuts were only expected to last until the end of this season. It's quite obvious here this afternoon that some attractions are running with skeleton crew, but equally, aside from Nemesis...

Granted, they're already most of the way there, but I'm still going to mention how vekoma have gone from a standing joke ten years ago to genuine competitors of B&M. Zamperla have shown they're not up for it yet, and other than at their own park (and Liseberg and Plopsa) Mack are playing FAR...
