Yeah, I've ridden this at the same place at around this time last year. A very janky coaster that ended up being a surprise +1 for us too when we spotted it from the castle.
Yeah, I have no idea. Ride to Happiness is my favorite coaster and I could spend hours reriding it, while I had enough of Voltron after a couple of rides in relatively quick succession (courtesy of using mine and mum's virtual lines). Brilliant ride, but the bouncing just made me feel sick.
And both of these replaced Rudolph themed family coasters. When I read @TPoseOnTantrum's post, I was certain that it's pretty old news, as I was sure I heard of it a while ago.
They're my second most ridden manufacturer behind Vekoma and have also made the brilliant Ride to Happiness that still seats on the top of my list. Here's all of the coasters I've ridden that were made by Mack (in chronological order);
#11 Alpenexpress Enzian OG, Europa Park (April 2007)
#12...
Voltron is an absolutely awesome coaster, but it's also headache/sickness-inducing bumpy. I haven't done Hyperia yet, but hopefully it does fare better in that aspect.
Yeah, I counted the flume and the powered coaster as new for 2024 in my submission. The park advertised the entire section of the park as new, so what the hell, I guess.
I'm living in a bit of a no-man's-land when it comes to theme parks and unsurprisingly people often ask me how I even got into this hobby when there's so few proper parks nearby.
The closest rcdb listing is the alpine coaster (https://rcdb.com/13033.htm) next to lake Bled. It's about a 30...
I take it you haven't been to Mirabilandia (or just gave up on your way to Reset).
A bit bummed I didn't get a chance to re-ride it on our recent visit with CF, when we got to the park late and the ride ended up closing even earlier than its already early 8pm closing time. Hopefully it's...
The only coaster that I only got one ride on and is currently ranked in my top 50 is Lost Gravity in Walibi Holland. The only time I visited the park since LG's opening was in 2021 when anti-covid measures were still in full swing and most of the major rides were only available through a virtual...
While I would love to give some local ex-Yu knowledge, I'm afraid I can't really give you a particularly definitive answer. I feel like Yugoslavia (unlike say, Soviet Union and other countries that were firmly in the Eastern block) mostly relied on small travelling fairs rather than having...
From an European's point of view, I find it insane if people think that everything will become cheaper if they vote Trump back into office. Biden had the misfortune of becoming president at a time when every place in the Western world went through a massive post pandemic inflation and I do not...
Yeah, as of right now, the only major rides that still close before the park does are I Corsari, Colorado Boat and Flying Island, so not a big blow for anyone planning on doing the park this Summer.
There was an awkward overlap when Fantasiana announced their new coaster just at a time when there were rumors that Prater's Wiener Looping project was getting canned and the ride was being sold.
Anyways, more on topic, some work on Helios' (the name of Fantasiana's Stryker coaster) station is...
Nice to see this still running. It looks like the coaster got a nice spruce-up since late 2022 from when the rcdb photos are from. The trains looked in pretty sorry state back then.
