I'd call it stupid rather than unfortunate, especially given the manufacturer in question. Some very poor decisions made with this park.

Yeah, that's looking pretty s**t. I was also expecting a lot more of an indoor section, but there's nothing. I get that the park probably needed a kiddy coaster, but what a wasted opportunity.

Viper at Six Flags Great America (excellent) compared.to White Canyon at Yomiuriland (terrible and, luckily, demolished). They weren't exactly the same, but were both based on the Coney Island cyclone.

Yeah, from those pictures, that's very much a "Conch Bay", including the crab that pops up. No idea if the film is the same obviously. To be fair, it's one of the few old-school Fantawild attractions that didn't really need amping up too much.
