Please note that this will not be the rides final speed. The park stated in the comments that the ride is running (a bit) faster than it will during normal operations. If it were my descision, I would keep the speed as it is :)
I haven’t been on the new Valhalla either, but from what I’ve heard - and please correct me if I am mistaking, Valhalla might only run for a few (advertised) hours per day, but with all of its effect working. They removed the ice room (which was the „coolest“ part for me, no pun intended, but...
It’s a bit late for an April fools joke, isn’t it?
Looks like they had nothing to do for an intern, so he was allowed to create a new logo. I hope they didn’t pay money for this.
I mean… she’s got a point. Many annual pass holders really seem to be a little bit arrogant, acting as if they were VIPs in some way or another. That is something that seemingly just comes with someone being in a park many times a year.
A surprising amount of annual pass holders even seem to...
FOMO coaster is usually pretty well informed when it comes to Energylandia. It's not an official statement, but if FOMO reports on it, it's very likely to be true.
Just thinking about it… maybe I am more a B+ category. I neither go out of my way for a +1, nor do I pay every price. But from time to time (every 2-3 years) I like to do a small trip including multiple small parks and therefore plenty of +1 as well.
B for sure. If it is close to me, I'll gladly take it as a reason to get the +1, but the pricing has to be somewhat in line (e.g. I wouldn't go to Epcot just to ride Guardians) and the distance shouldn't be too far. I wouldn't travel 100km just for a "+1". Pretty much the same as for kiddy rides...
Of course the park was only closed for the year I visited Duabi. Well, after missing Sea World by 3 weeks, yet another reason to return in a couple of years. Are there cheap flights from Dubai to Riad?
Loopings is not particularly known for waiting for any permission before sharing anything, quite contrary. So if they were to know the name, they‘d have already shared it.
Awesome, thank you!
For comparison: A Mack Mega running wheel (and I guess it is similar for Intamin Blitz) has 34cm diameter (12.5“). So we are talking about roughly 20% increase in diameter.
I am still really interested in how this performs. Formula Rossa trims you down to 100mph right after...
According to Themepark Worldwide, the wheels have a diameter of 16" (40.6cm), and the second "launch" (the straight to get up the quarry wall) has a speed of ~100mph (160 km/h). I found no source to confirm this, though, so please take this with a grain of salt. Allthough I don't feel like Shawn...
Crazy Mouse at Brighton Palace Pier. I rode this back in 2018, and it was already mostly held together by rust - and lots of it. I rarely feel scared for my life on a rollercoaster, but this one did it.
