”Executive Producer” credits generally mean very little. All it really says is that the person credited contributed something to the production at some point in time, often either helped finance it or consulted on some things. Sometimes it doesn’t even amount to more than them putting their name...
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now testing a single rider line for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Apparently it skips several of the pre-shows including the rebel transport sequence, but it definitely has use for re-rides.
According to a park spokesperson, the cost for Danse Macabre has ballooned to over €35 million, owing to inflation and increased cost of materials but also an expansion in size of the project from when it was originally budgeted at €25 million...
I first got word of this from their newsletter a few days ago so I would assume it’s open, or at least close to it? Can’t find any other photos of it, though.
Efteling has released a teaser showing what appears to be bits of the interior queue for Danse Macabre:
The ride gondolas were also teased in an earlier video from late June:
I believe Shanghai Pirates uses two sets of wheel assemblies that ride along independent guide rails, so it needs to have space for two separate tracks whenever Disney wants the boat to turn to face a specific direction:
(from the Shanghai Pirates patent)
The new patent looks to be a...
Disney has submitted a patent for a two-dimensional guiding system that would allow boats on water rides to turn to face specific show scenes as opposed to always be locked straight ahead, while still being propelled by the waterflow rather than any other method of propulsion. The vehicle would...
An unfortunate (but cuddly) incident befell Heide-Park today. A plush elephant fell on the track for the Mack powered coaster Grottenblitz and got lodged beneath the front car of the train. No injures were reported among riders, but the plush elephant sadly did not survive the slow-moving...
The 2025 coaster now has a March completion date, according to signs posted upfront. Work has begun on the station building and the budget for the whole project has apparently ballooned to €12m.
Current state of the Mission Bermuda construction site:
The park has also put up a sign advertising an April 2025 opening. Let's see if they can hit that target.

Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence - Boy howdy, does Avengers Assemble look a whole lot better right about now. Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence is the textbook definition of a mixed bag — a technological marvel of a coaster that's undercut by a disastrous execution from a theming perspective...
Some reviews from my May 2024 Paris trip:
Toutatis - This was the whole reason I wanted to go back to France this year (I would've gone last year but I had to spend my vacation money in England instead), and after rushing to it on opening and waiting through a breakdown to get a chance to ride...
Wonder Woman developed a terrible rattle pretty quickly from what I’ve heard. The entire fleet of trains is being replaced because the old trains were falling apart faster than anyone could’ve anticipated. It’s also part of why the newer installations are a lot less rapid-fire than the prototypes.
It's rumoured that there's a slight delay because of the election, but apparently some sort of announcement (probably the first applications being submitted) is happening the week after.
It's the same service under a more direct name and a return to the Fastpass+ days where you could book them in advance (at WDW. The service in Anaheim is still day of). Seems like they came to the conclusion that the "Genie+" branding was causing too much confusion.
The park has released more concept art of the "Emerald City" part of the Oz expansion, including a fairly elaborate walkthrough experience themed to the classic film:
