You would think, Yet there's 3 big Intamin rides opening in Moscow next year (footers are in already), A Zamperla just opened in Omsk and another one is coming to Belgograd next year.
I have no idea how this is happening. But it is.
First thought was that it's the vertical launch coaster for Dream Island but the anti roll backs preclude that
So seems it's currently an unknown project.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of those lift and launch coasters Merlin have put into their Peppa pig parks. Would fit quite nicely and it's the right size ride.
Basically yeah..but the fishhook would have been so tall that single car train would have easily been past the height of falcon even though it was a shuttle.
It amuses me that while it is the tallest coaster ever built it isn't the tallest coaster almost built.
The Vegas fishook would have been taller. If it wasn't for the city of Vegas voting down the project the fishook would have been taller than Falcons Flight over 20 years ago and i assume this...
These photos from China show an interesting ride built by a Chinese aerospace research firm near Xi'an in the early 2010s. The exact purpose of the ride isn't known but it certainly looks like it wouldn't have been a pleasant ride.

Over Water Roller Coaster, an old school jet coaster at Honey Lake in Shenzhen, China has sat SBNO for 17 years, left to the elements for that whole time I think we all knew it was never coming back. But still kind of sad to see it ripped down.

The layout has changed slightly from the original concept art, but they have handily updated it with new concept art.
I love finding something weird and this ticks all my boxes, This is the recently opened Roller Coaster at Gohar Park near Sirjan in Iran and it's like nothing I've seen before.
Featuring B&M style box track, a vertical loop and a watersplash, the ride was built by Iranian company Shadi Sazan...
A new park for Brazil has been announced for 2027, The park called Cacau Park will be situated near Sao Paulo.

Sorry for triple post, but as they are all on very different subjects in different countries it seemed easier for people to be able to reply to individual topics :)

Hard to...
It would appear Kaleidoscope Park in Belgorod, Russia will be adding a Zamperla spinning coaster in 2025, A clone of Wild Mouse at Cedar Point. This will be the parks first roller coaster.
