Isn't SWSA also getting one of these but only 50 feet tall and flipping all the way around? It's going to be really hard to market that with this opening just 10 minutes away. SFFT is already kicking the absolute crap out of that place and this is exactly the kind of situation they need to be...
Well this is still my most anticipated ride even with Maxx Force! Love how low to the ground and zippy it looks, and that second launch through the airtime hill is so innovative! The station and launch preshow I'm fairly certain were Thunderbird-inspired too. I'll take it!
Livestream is underway! Let's let this snake out of the bag!
UPDATE: If you aren't quite situated with your beer and junk food to watch yet, they pushed it back to 11:10 waiting for people to arrive.
Shut up and take my money! I love it! Looks snappy and aggressive as hell and I love the little hop after the launch! Completely took me off guard with this one, it’s the launch coaster they need!
That coaster looks strangely fun! Place reminds me a bit of a sort of Hershey's Chocolate World/Heini's Cheese Chalet type place but with a coaster. First time hearing of that manufacturer too. Great report as always!
Crap! I didn't think anyone would actually look at it! I'll explain more right now...
I really like RMCs as I feel they focus 100% on the things I look for in a coaster. Little to no regard for positives and just a fast, out of control airtime machine that throws you every which way. Not to...
Man, I started this a year ago almost and haven't updated it since!
Renegade
Mystic Timbers
American Thunder
Lightning racer
Thunderhead

It's a family GCI but it still packs a bit of a punch. Some nice air hills here and there, I like...
So with me getting my new tech job, that also meant saying hasta la vista to Walmart. And with that, despite all my traveling, I still had PTO leftover to burn, which had another trip written all over it. Virginia was the obvious choice, given it's home to a shiny new RMC and a wonderful park I...
Since we’re talking about GP and t-shirts, something happened at KD two days ago that I think warrants mention here.
So we’re getting off of Avalanche and my friends head off when this woman sees my Mystic Timbers shirt and stops me. She asks me, “I see your shirt for the other coaster, the...
Yeah, that’s cringey. But as I said, personal preference had a lot to do with that and I’ve gotten a lot less extreme about it as of recently. Yeah I’d love anything that I personally didn’t like to be RMCed but it’s not all about me and just isn’t feasible.
Mostly it’s just opposition to the...
Actually I doubt that I’d have said that, there are tons of rides older than that that I enjoy. I’m not so much “every old classic coaster that I personally don’t enjoy should be RMCed,” it’s more “that crappy old ride that nobody rides anymore shouldn’t be saved from being RMCed/razed and...
It's pretty hard to put me off of a park to the point that I'd never return, even if I had a bad experience I'm willing to go back and give it another go to see if I can have a better time. However, the one I would say is the closest to a definite no would be Camden Park in West Virginia. The...
Haha, that video actually got a smile out of me. Didn't realize how big the cars were compared to the track (maybe I'm just used to seeing RCT's Dizzy Dropper) but it looks like a fun little coaster. The rocking out of some of those raven turns looks pretty amusing. US parks take note! I'd love...
We recently had an announcement at my home park Kings Island regarding an old ride becoming new again, and as with any upcoming announcement, there was a ton of speculation going on. Some were keeping their expectations low, some expected a massive RMC despite no construction on site at the...
This one is easy!
Wonder Woman had some kind of mechanical issue while Ben and I were driving to San Antonio and our employee friend told us it would be down for a long, long time. So that's a pretty nasty spite we wanted to avoid, and even though it was unlikely, we did some switching...

Not ranking family inverts since there’s only one and I haven’t ridden it. The top 2 are pretty consistently good, while my favorite nontraditional seating coaster is an invert (Banshee) I ranked it below...
First off, #ByeFelicia, ridden this twice and it beat the snot out of me both times.
Second, I’m fairly certain it’s going floorless. The ride is only 6 years old at that park and they invested a lot into it to move it and paint it and theme it, just scrapping it six years later would have to...
New clue from granny!
So it slows down to 35 mph (sounds like about the right amount of momentum loss) and then launches to 50 mph in 2 seconds. Sounds like they really plan to play up the launches, which makes sense as Carowinds is desperate for a launcher.
Let me guess, next step is to...
My thoughts on this:
There’s a lot of space to the left of Racer where they could easily work something into X-base. Flight of Fear’s building had a disused photo kiosk at the end of it that they could easily knock down to open up access to this space. Put a new midway back there with the queue...
