Never got to do the Conneaut Lake Blue Streak before it got ripped out, but I’m a huge fan of Cedar Point’s. I think it’s a top 5 ride in the park and personally prefer it to Millennium Force. It has stronger air, and I very much enjoy old wooden coasters.
I agree, to an extent. Water rides definitely can be great without being extremely wet, but I don’t find that a water ride being extremely wet detracts from the experience. Getting absolutely drenched is great fun if you’re prepared for it.
Night rides on Popeye’s Bilge Rat Barges at IoA are...
It was a prototype, and was plagued with issues throughout its life. It also had a minor incident in its last season that really put the last nail in the coffin.
You’d think this, but the park doesn’t even have enough money to remove their long-dead water coaster. Deluge has been permanently closed since 2019, but is still just sitting there taking up space. My guess is that T3 never operates again but stays standing for a good few years before they even...
Was looking for this thread for a while, only to find it on *gasp* the second page?? That won’t do at all!
Here’s individual cred reviews for notable coasters at SFOG and FSAA!

As an avid mine blower fan, it definitely needs this. The layout is incredible, but the ride is so shockingly rough due to aforementioned construction issues that it’s almost hard to focus on the awesome layout and elements. The first time I rode it, I said “if that were smooth it would be top...
I, for one, am going to miss it dearly. Some of the practical effects on this were genuinely mindblowing. Not to mention the delightfully corny writing. One of IOA’s best, imo, and one that will leave a big hole in the park.

There will be no changes in management, and the companies will continue to offer their products separately, as well as presenting separately at IAAPA. They will, however, be combining their R&D efforts and...
F*** rides that look unsafe, those bungee cable slingshots really are! They’re all hitting their service lives and they’re all snapping. You’ll never catch me on anything powered by a glorified rubber band.
That being said, the spring-powered versions are awesome.
Finally got down to Georgia with some friends last weekend! Did both FSAA and SFOG, but only one ride made my top 20. The one that did, though, made quite the impression.

It’s gonna be height, speed, and length all in one when Falcon’s Flight opens up. If TTD refurb ends up being a record breaker then it will be height for a year until FF opens.
