Spoiler Alert
Saw Indiana Jones and the dial of destiny the other days:-
Mixed feelings - and in some regards similar feelings to the Crystal skull a few years ago
Where crystal skull went left field with Aliens - as does Dial with time travel..... it all goes a bit wibbly wobbly, timey...

4, Goonies (1985)
5, Return to Oz (1985)
6, Romy and Michelles high school reunion (1997)
7, Sleepy Hollow (1999)
8, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
9, Hocus Pocus (1993)

Braver than me, I'd never do a skydive - its an experience I'd quite happily love without ever having! I simply would no enjoy it and would only me glad to be on land, i hate that feeling of having noting solid underneath me - I don't like to overthink planes too much for that reason - and also...
First off speaking of my own experience - as a coaster enthusiast, who also has a fear of heights - it's a somewhat strange dichotomy - which may not make sense from outside observations.
I was recently with family where we were on cantilevered walkways and stairs with that metal-mesh flooring...
I would theorise he was 'falling out' I.e. hanging out - and he thought it safer to drop down onto a beam - maybe he was scared the car was going to fall!
Prediction:- give it a couple of years and they'll knock ghost train into Walking dead and re-launch a Dungeons IP attraction linking the 2 rides into one experience and charge £8 a go!
Yup It was utter trash - the dictionary definition of rough! you only had to watch offride to see everybody's heads bouncing and jolting about like broken marionettes to know what a horror show it was going to be! No amount of bracing could save us from this relentless jolt-fest - hideous! Think...
I'm in this position and just thought it would make a good discussion! It almost makes me wish I hadn't started counting - as it's a new unlocked stress haha.
Basically If you want a certain top-shelf/new cred for a milestone, would you skip creds at previous parks if the numbers didn't stack...
I found myself having a little deep dive into the construction of Th13teen (as you do) and reading the old speculation posts at what people though the 'special element would be - and an early 'rumour/theory' was that it would have alternate endings/elements.
And it got me thinking - especially...
Disney (apparently) filed a patent for this not too long ago - kind of a swing propulsion - seems a bit dodgy to me, at first I though it was just a new take on the drop-track, but no apparently the motion is meant to throw the coaster forward - so the track sections had better align first...
Due to open this season at Universal studios Florida in the old Shrek 4D building is a new interactive dark'ride'.
I heard mention of this a while back and was intrigued by the utilisation of a moving walkway as a ride system, basically an Omnimover without any cars! We've all been on them at...
One thing I find nice about forums is the slower pace and the ability to catch up with threads and re-visit archives. Social media is too much too fast, I'm In a number of facebook interest groups and know that I'll spot an interesting post and then loose it! - And have a hard time finding it...
Europa park is the Mecca of these - Blue fire and silver star etc - I REALLY enjoy riding them every time, but they aren't getting in any favourite lists. Wodan I'd argue is the headliner and 'above' average & one of my fav woodies in Europe.
But despite that - its still my fav park ever...
I'm pretty... (well very) irreligious (well organised religions) and see the word Ascension more as it's Noun form of rising/lifting to a higher place! Besides other religions use the term too, and therefore it's not dissimilar to 'Shambala' as a name!
It really depends if you are a theme park or coaster fan - Efteling and Europa are 2 of my top 5 favourite parks - that's because of their outstanding dark rides and general vibe, but on the coaster front yes - you could say their coasters are fillers, but I won't call the parks themselves fillers.
Very astute reply - and I agree. I just tend to push back a little when I see such things!! For e.g. the assumption that everyone of a minority is offended by certain things and if they're not....they should be! etc But absolutely thats not for here! peace out!
