^ Thanks for the little review, I'll ride it next week somewhere! Also, I'd argue that Fata Morgana is quite dark ;). It includes themes like poverty, prostitution, slavery, etc.
Amazing news. Finally that horrendously grotesque pathetic excuse of a "song" is gone and Troy has gotten the music it deserves. It will definitely enhance the atmosphere around the station, which has always been extremely flat compared to Joris en de Draak and Wodan.
Seems like most of the reviews are positive, but some people had their expectations way too high I think. I never expected it to be better than Droomvlucht and Fata Morgana and now people are surprised that it's (apparently) not. My expectations have always been managable so I think I'll really...
If it's Vekoma I'll put my excitement on hold for now. I'm just not sure what to expect and while I genuinely trust Phantasialand, I just can't lose my **** about it yet. I like some Vekoma family coasters, but is there any big thrill coaster that is actually fantastic yet? In case of a B&M...
That's really really sad yeah. I've heard that Chessie is not what it used to be, but I didn't realise they've removed that much. Such a shame, because as a foreigner who never knew much about the park, I loved it. Maybe in its prime it could've been one of my fave parks, or at least up there...
Last year Balder was running really well. I've never cared much for it but last year after rain in the dark it was great! So much fun and good airtime on every hill. Haven't done any other pre-fabs to compare though, but I do think El Toro looks better. Not sure about Colossos yet.
The best way to do Efteling is to start out with Baron, then do Vliegende Hollander, Joris and Python in that order. You should be done with all those before they start getting queues. Then you can walk around the lake and do Vogel Rok (and any other ride in that area that you might find...
I've done Python and Speed of Sound. I'm not actually sure if I prefer them over the old OTSRs. The old ones are crap for sure, but those vests are the most restrictive restraints I can think of. It's so extremely tight and literally kills any chance of getting any airtime. I know the two...

Holiday Park is so much nicer than people give it credit for. Many pleasant areas and it's very green. And EGF is a beast of a coaster. So much better than its Dutch brother. Looking forward to going back later this year. That ride operator on Sky Scream sounds nasty though. I find that Germany...
Day 7
The last proper park of the trip was Chessington. I didn't have high expectations of the place. I've pretty much heard nothing but bad things about it, and it was supposed to always be extremely busy. I think we saw it more as a little bonus getting some extra creds than a proper park day...
^ Good to see another Junker fan. Seems to be just me, CookieCoaster and you so far :p I like your list in general. Many fab coasters, though I'm not sure if I'll rank Flug above Taron and Wildfire ;)
I love all kinds of rides so I ride anything that looks even remotely interesting. Coasters, flats, dark rides, water rides, walkthroughs. I love them all.
