I went for no as the majority of rides I've had on it haven't been rough. I have had one awful one though - I think it depends on the train you get, and several other conditions too. I'm convinced the one rough ride I had was on a train with square wheels.
You will also find that the more you...
Idk, a ventilator tube done my throat seems like a worse alternative.
I just don't get the logic behind refusing to wear a mask? I mean, I guess it makes sense given there was initially a refusal to wear seatbelts when it became mandatory, and certain people will always find a way to complain...
Tomahawk - Love this little gem
Stampida - It's just too painful to enjoy more than the once.
Megafobia - Meh. I've only had the one ride on it and it was pants.
Rides that I like that most people don't:
Kumali - That sweeping first drop is brilliant and it's smoother than most SLC's
Velocity - Just a really nice, solid coaster
Thirteen - Could probably lump this in with Smiler too, in that I don't think people actively dislike them as rides rather they...
They're never going to compete with Alton Towers - they don't have the funds, nor the strength of brand, so to me at least they've been quite wise so target the family/young child market - Thomas Land was huge for them.
That said, there is still massive potential there for them to expand...
Not sure how comfortable I am therefore with them cashing in on peoples good nature - over 70k donated already but not exactly clear where that money is going.
This sounds like management talk for "We've ****ed this up royally but are in too deep now so need to find a way to salvage something".
I am very familiar with it.
Parque Warner Madrid is a shout given the intial outlay as discussed above, but it's such an arse-about-way away from Madrid that it was never going to pull in enough visitors to warrant further investments.
I think Terra Mitica is the best shout in here - it's got to be in an almost perfect...
Rumours locally are that they're simply doing it to write off some debt and the park will likely end up in the ownership of a new company within the current ownership group.
How accurate that is I have no idea.
Yeah I'm joining in with the Ryanair love, of course their charges are outrageous but that's only if you're an idiot and don't read properly. If it wasn't for Ryanair I wouldn't have visited half the places I've been able to do. ****, I got to Luxembourg and back for less than a tenner. They're...
I mean the government clearly cared about it as an arbitrary measure given they changed how they were counting them on the 28th April to ensure they could include mailed tests, even though they clearly stated the target was 100k people TESTED, not 100k tests sent out.
The whole thing is a...
Who doesn't love a bit of classic euro dance?!
'Dance' as a catch-all is pretty much all I'll listen to. Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, Avicii, Arty, Laidback Luke, I used to spend my Friday nights listening to Annie Mac, Judge Jules and then Pete Tong (before Radio 1 went to ****e).
Tend to go...
On the face of it that does look promising. All I would temper it with is that without a vaccine in place, there's every chance they'll have to go back into lockdown if it starts to spread again.
Oh ****ing ****ing bollocks and arsewipe.
Completely understandable, sensible decision from the park. Gutted on a personal level but ah well, always next year.
Will be doing the same as Ben and waiting out to see if Ryanair end up cancelling more flights rather than jumping the gun now.
The government wouldn't have forced their hand at all. I'd be surprised if they'd even been in touch.
It will be mostly a financial decision based on early trends from those parks that have opened already, and probably hastened by the decision to close schools from tomorrow (meaning they know...
I cannot for the life of me remember if I've done it @Ben and don't want to duplicate but our flights are still booked and unless they put us in a forced quarantine I'll be there because I've already had two trips cancelled this year.
Yeah Icon is the first one for me that came to mind too, that thing at the end of the day is a different beast altogether.
@Nitefly it may not be that they continue heating up - but it plateau's at a certain temperature relevant to how frequently it's exposed to the forces heating it?
