Valhalla being closed for a year for a full refurb isn't a bad thing at all. Get all the effects working, make updates to fix any regular problems, bring the old big skull back and get it back to its best.
I have more faith that the Paramount/London/BBC/ITV park in Kent will open than this, which is the result of a coked up concept artist being told he's got five minutes to turn in his work in on this project that he hasn't even started.

X-Men Dark Phoenix
The Fox X-Men franchise comes to a dull and whimpering end in a film so bland you'll find yourself thinking, "oh yeah, forgot there were aliens in this" every time they pop back up on screen. There is absolutely no enjoyment to be had with this at all, from the cheap looking...
Every spinning Wild Mouse I've been on (a whopping 3) the ride operators haven't bothered with the seatbelt. Why this sort of practice is allowed to happen is beyond me - it may be a secondary restraint to the lap bar, but it's still a restraint. If there's a seatbelt, it should always be used...
What does ITV even have that can be turned into attractions? Something like a studio tour like what Granada used to be in the 80s with the Corrie set would make sense, but a full on theme park? It doesn't matter anyway, they'll back out of it by about September after a summer of absolutely...

Avengers Endgame
Enjoyable to watch, but I can't decide of the massive plot holes are enough to ruin it a bit. Definitely not as good as Infinity War though, which was much more streamlined and polished.
Hellboy
Tries to incorporate too many comic storylines and references at once, at the cost of a streamlined plot, and ends up being about 50% exposition. Editing is also a bit of a mess at points, the opening scene especially. However, despite an exhausting amount of exposition and some dodgy...
The title worries me...I'm worried the titular Skywalker will be Rey. Last Jedi did a lot wrong but one of the best decisions it made was to reveal Rey wasn't related to anyone, because her being a Skywalker, Kenobi, or a Palpatine was just too predictable and contrived.
Shazam - excellent fun superhero film, it's a real shame it's stuck in the rather naff DCEU. Very funny as well, with a lot of genuine laugh out loud moments rather than just a smile or a chuckle. Marvel are lucky they've got Endgame this year, because compared to Glass and Shazam, Captain...
I came into this thread to see enthusiasts drawing conclusions from a bit of chalk meaning the Pleasure Beach were getting a Mack giga coaster next year, not more talk about brexit dammit!

Captain Marvel
Standard MCU entry, but that's not a bad thing. I think my problem with it was nothing felt like it had any weight or impact to it...the plot details, plot twists, character backstory...they're all just thrown at you in a way that doesn't make them feel important. Nothing is made...
