Design inspiration for the front of those trains seem to have come from remote control monster trucks that last ten minutes before they fall apart and never work again.
"We believe your new attractions are using properties of the Roald Dahl Story Company without permission, which is against copyright laws"
"Nonsense!"
"Your new area is called Dahland?"
"Named after a....a....mate of mine, called Ronald Dahl"
"You have a ride called James and The Giant Peach"...
I think they stopped doing he free entry, pay per ride system recently, for whoever asked above.
Quite honestly I'm surprised they're still working on the caterpillar and whip; I was under the impression everything they bought for the heritage park was beyond repair at this point.
I am...
Even better is that it's coasters all the way from the front to Nickelodeon Land. Big One, then Infusion, then Big Dipper, then Icon, then Avalanche and then Revolution, all lined up.
Dammit, I was hoping there was someone sitting in a dressing gown in an armchair, writing by candlelight with a feather quill personal hand written letters about why the Wild Mouse is gone, to be delivered by a messenger on horseback.
Of course anyone who complains is going to get the statement...
I've come to realise that even though it's been demolished without notice, in the long term, I think it might have been better. With all the problems the park have with the ride and its health and safety, it would only be a matter of time before the ride would have been completely ruined through...
Or, even just use the Trauma Towers space for FY4, and using the combined space of FY4, the Bowl a Drome, Planet Rock and the Wild Mouse, that's quite a decent sized space for a smaller coaster that crosses over the pathway towards the ramp up to the Big Dipper.
A size big enough for a T Rex...
If were speculating about future development, I think FY4 might be moved over to the Trauma Towers and Wild Mouse sites, split over the two by the pathway already existing inbetween the two sites. Demolition of the Bowl a Drome and the Planet Rock dome, as well as that small parking area, that's...
Was anyone here around when The Reel was demolished? I imagine it had the same sort of impact the demolition of the Mouse does - a wild ride many people had fond memories of, but unceremoniously demolished at the age of 60. Obviously there wouldn't have been social media or the Internet to...
Don't worry, the Pleasure Beach already sell ride parts in the shop. Hell, they've sold stuff from the Greatest show on Earth in 2017, and that closed in 1997!
Shocked by the news. It really was a great ride, easily the most wild roller coaster I've ever been on. I know in 2017 it had a lot of...
