Thanks for the share, I was asked not to film inside the station or with the transfer track in full view (as in when I was stood next to it), I am really looking forward to seeing the station once its been finished and 'revealed' fully by Toverland.
We did head round to the bottom of the lift...
On three trains it isn't going to be over crowded, think about how quickly Pleasure Beach shifted 500 boarding pass holders in just under 40 minutes on the first day of the VIP rides.
PBE and CF are coming together for this event, Ian mentioned it on the first page. :)
I don’t see how vlogs and people filming reviews/opinions about theme parks, rides and so on is actually an issue. You could say I’m biased because I film vlogs and reviews alongside theme park content, but I don’t see what the issue with people vlogging is, it happens in all walks of life not...
For two years I have followed the construction of ICON at the Pleasure Beach, from before the leaked info about it all, it has been exciting watching the rumours being posted online and hearing rumours amongst the staff at the park before anything was announced. I have previously never shown...
Pleasure Beach fell on hard times in 2004 and got hit hard during the recession but they're still here and still doing the best they can with the resources they've got.
Icon looks amazing from 200ft up;
I am going to try and cover more of its second half next time, I did regret not filming more on Saturday but there was a fairly long break between the first lots of test runs and second lot, and by the time it was testing again I'd started to head home to get out of the cold.
^Wow you're quick! Haha. It does seem quite slow through some of the first half but I would imagine with time it'll pick up more speed, it was very interesting watching it today. They stopped testing by the time I'd moved position to film, but I'll back there soon.
The Wicker Man looks awesome at night, it rides awesome at night too, I didn't think it'd improve much on the day time experience but it makes it even better! I filmed a vlog at the media night last night and for anyone who may be interested it can be found here;
It was great to catch up with...
I only won the race because I woke up at 6am annoyingly, planned on a lazy morning but never mind haha.
Not totally sure when Towers plan to release anymore on ride footage, but I would imagine as we get closer to the weekend we'll see more footage released.
I think testing starts anytime from now, but don't know for sure.
I don't see the point in filming anymore 'construction updates' now without testing footage, I think just about everything else has been covered.
Icon construction video from earlier on today;
There's some interesting theming/scenary planned for Icon, none of which I have spoken about in the video but the theming will be added in various places around Icon in the next few weeks.
How do you know Pleasure Beach haven't worked with Intamin since?
Intamin were one of the companies who were considered for a new coaster at Pleasure Beach before Mack were chosen to go ahead and design Icon, also Intamin were over last winter I believe.
