VR was never a likely thing for this coaster anyway otherwise they wouldn't have put in so many 'near misses', pretty sure that was obvious from the start.
So have they officially confirmed that pass holders will have to pay extra for Ferrari Land entry? I have emailed them and tweeted them about 100 times asking for clarity on that and it's something they don't want to answer at the moment.
It's been a long time since I've done a CF Live so it'd be like going to the first one again hardly knowing anyone, but I'm interested in doing the Blackpool meet with you and probably PortAventura but it'll be a case of seeing what dates they're on etc.
I really hope Goliath doesn't get the VR treatment, I'll be absolutely gutted if it does!
Not sure about the re-paint either, it looked fine in green but as long as it doesn't get the VR treatment, I'm happy!
I wouldn't say we're hiding, just posting whenever we have some news or something of relevance to post about the new coaster. My post about the expected timescale of the construction seemed to get lost amongst a load of nonsense with someone spamming with every other post!

Groundwork will really kick in for this new coaster just after the Pleasure Beach season is finished (6th November), so I don't think much is going to change in the area where its going between now and the end of the year, I think track will arrive at the Pleasure Beach around this time next year.
The Pleasure Beach owners have had a fantastic relationship with the Mack family for a very long time so it doesn't surprise me that BPB's representives are at Mack HQ.
All of this is very exciting!
Very disappointed about this, I'm heading to Florida for the first time next year and Kraken is/was one of the coasters I am most looking forward to getting on, really not interested in VR on any ride!
Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Project 2018
Don't be silly, I'm pretty sure if BPB wanted an Intamin launch coaster they'd have bought one in the mid 2000's like plenty of other parks were doing.
Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Project 2018
It's difficult to please everyone, since we've been doing the YouTube channel we've found it more beneficial to do as many updates by video than by just posting photos, especially as PBE is a lot more popular on its Facebook and Youtube channel than...
Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Project 2018
It's hardly garbage you've known for months, the removal of theming if you can call it that which has stood for a lot of years is fairly significant for some more groundwork taking place which will link with the new ride and only started getting...
In fairness, it's another stepping stone for Tayto Park to grow into a bigger and better theme park. I was there on Saturday and very impressed with how they've started out, all of the group I was with are determined to go back next season when the new ride is open and continue to support the...
