Brad will have RAGE!
Anyway, a great few days as everyone has posted. Thanks to Mark, Ian etc for organising the trip and Vampire tour.
May do a trip report later, but here were my highlights:
- The costumes at Thorpe were epic. Certainly got everyone talking :-D
- Pumpkin beach...
Looks as though track has started to go up from looking at the webcam on the Gardaland website: http://www.gardaland.it/index_genetix_en.php
Looks as if it's either the station or brake run that's up... :--D
Nice find there Matt
But yes, the documents do show that the attraction will feature a dark ride system. One of the documents has a who load of information on it, such as noise levels, and the fact it will have 8 cars etc.
It does look like it's going to be a unique attraction...
In breaking theme park news this afternoon, it appears that Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes is now closed. The article is below:

It truely is spectacular; something that only Disney could properly pull off. It must be a lot better in real person as it is hard to see the mist screens and projections in that video. The scale is just something amazing.
Tune in to GMTV tomorrow between 6:00-7:00am for the first ever sneak preview of Thirteen.
All will be revealed. They are at the resort now filming.

In a recent press release by the park, they have stated some of the things that you can expect within the maze:
I'm glad that they are going for some multi-sensory effects, which should create the desired atmosphere.
No one every said they were getting rid of the Bose speakers, just replacing them with brand new Bose speakers.
Apparently areas that had little/no audio, now have speakers placed ready for audio.
Saw: Alive is coming along very well. It practically looks finished. There are some pictures below of the works as well as some of the re-furbished entrance to the park:
All images are courtesy of TPM.
And of course an added shark:
Apparently a lot of...
We have to remember that it is only a guide to the council to outline what the park may due in due course. It's most likely that only half of those things that can be seen will appear at the park. Look at the previous MTDP, many things on it weren't built. Another thing to add, it's most likely...
Didn't really think this news needed a new topic but 2010 brings something else:
According to TPM, parts of Colossus' track have been removed including the drop and re-tracked to make the ride smoother. Also the ride has apparently been re-painted, so hopefully it will be the nice colours it...
The theming is actually very good. It's better than Saw: The Ride's just looking at that, and it's probably not finished yet. It will be interesting to see the finished product.
I really enjoyed reading that; thanks Mark and all who went for bringing this to us. The future certainly does look bright for Chessington. Attention to detail is key in an immersive experience as seen by the likes of Disney, Universal etc. From music to rides to benches, it all needs to flow...
Just a thought.... As the Jungle Coaster is being removed from Legoland Windsor, could this mean that it will be moved to the new one in Florida? I doubt we will see it moved to any UK park, and the promotional advertisments at the press release showed one of these coasters advertised.
