Nice little coaster here. Afew rough transitions though.
Love the fact you used Daft Punk.
Couple things though, the trains fail to make it back from the MCBR to the final break run if in manual mode.
I too went for the pro version.
I tried to record a 1080p video yesterday and failed. I am liking the high res screen shots though. I've upped the setting to highest size and they are huge!

Re: Alton Towers | The Smiler | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1
After all they did in covering the 1st barrel roll too!
However, one of the team over there say that in their update, there is more too see.
Re: Alton Towers | The Smiler | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1
SW is just the code name for Altons major projects*.
World's firsts/gimmicks have nothing todo with it. It's just a coincidence that they feature a special element.
*please correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I've always...
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1st
The Pepsi Max crashed once....
Any ways, back on track.
Think there may be another photo update tonight going by the posts on TowersTimes. - *Dunce, just noticed that this has been mentioned only 2 posts above.
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1st
Pretty much sums up my thoughts on this. Yes I know in my last post I mentioned about an inversion record, but, I'm not that hung up on the 'worlds first/beating' advertising jargon.
What impresses me most, is the fact Alton have...
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1st
I've just been browsing the plans again, and, correct me if this has already been mentioned, but .....
... the section after the cobra roll heading too the final turn and brake run, could that have an inline twist and/or a...
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1st
Make of it what you will, I too was sceptical so downloaded an app and gave it a go.
Try for yourself if you want. Obviously not 100% accurate but virtually there.
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1st
I reckon the video is fan made. No way would that be shown pre-watershed, so pretty pointless.
The app could be real, I remember having a BPM monitor app a while back and it was surprisingly accurate.
Posting on the go via Tapatalk.
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown (Gestlauer?) World's 1st
I know we don't fully know the manufacturer, but, wasn't the X-Car demonstrated on a similar style of track, with lap bars showing how comfortable they could be?
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown (Gestlauer?) World's 1st
Even if this does ride like a washing machine, bumping and banging you all over. It'll certainly look impressive.
I know it was said afew pages back, but, an 8 (at least) looping coaster at Alton with all their restrictions is amazing...
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown (Gestlauer?) World's 1st
Does this also mean that the car type could be a worlds first aswell?
This post was brought to you either by Tapatalk or some random Internet gremlin.
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown (Gestlauer?) World's 1st
I understand your points, and this is more than likely the obvious case.
I still though... I dunno... I just don't get the feeling of terror from it.
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown (Gestlauer?) World's 1st
The whole #getcorrected could mean a back story of a underground research/healing facility. You go on the ride to rid yourself of a disease, thus becoming corrected.
Also to tie in with scarefest, they are saying 'The Sanctuary' is an...
