Re: Six Flags Magic Mountain | Twisted Colossus | RMC Iron H
You gotta either make a big show of "I know what I'm doing" or sit forward in the seat when they come to staple it.
Re: Six Flags Magic Mountain | Twisted Colossus | RMC Iron H
I think a breather on the lift in the middle of a ride of this intensity actually makes a lot of sense
I haven't ridden it, but looking at POV's it strikes me as incredibly bizarre that the first half stays so high in the air, it never has any really tall hills. It just kind of stays tall.
Back seat with hands up, I basically held myself in with my feet, under that little nook down there. It was actually pretty awesome. Real skinny people though (not me) probably should hold on to the restraints on Phoenix.

If MM was smart, they'd load a train, and then wait until the first one came around to send it on its way. Ride would flow better if they make sure to stop only the train on the first side on the lift, to ensure the second one...
Re: Dollywood 2016 || Teaser
Where is there space in Dollywood for a new ride I wonder?
Maybe they'll just remove and replace Eagle with something good.
I hope there's more of these stand-to-sit conversions in the future. The stand-ups are some of B&M's best layouts, but the fact they are stand-ups is a huge negative obviously.
Why not "bleed speed" with a series of bunny hops or a sea serpent roll? Even more pressing, why not utilize the speed you have instead of deliberately wasting it? That can't possibly be why.
"Although they're not very re-ridable, I do prefer these Premier Rides ones over similar small footprint coasters like SkyLoops or Boomerangs. All three have capacity issues, but there's a little more to these than their Maurer Söhne counterparts and their much smoother than the Vekomas."

Those two bizarre turn elements after the vertical loop seem awkward and I'm doubtful they pull many G's. I really don't understand why that's the elements they went with.
I305- There's a possibility I'd like it better in the front or back rows (aka the correct rows), but the fact it has OTSR's and a trim are both huge, huge mistakes.
Nitro- The entire ride is about 15-20mph too slow. No forces at all.
