I mean the train goes down, it's a drop. I'd argue it's just a flat 180 degrees from the start of the pretzel loop to the bottom before the ride starts going uphill again.
I don't entirely trust RCDB on their reasoning for opening dates with rides, they're also hit and miss on capacity and cost for a lot of the coasters as well.
In this case though Iam Staples, Gene's son, said that they've been having problems with getting track pieces for Dreier Looping across...
Late but basically every single Free Spin at the Six Flags parks has had a car get stuck in the upper part of the ride due to a remotely stiff breeze or weather conditions inside of what S&S said its permitted operating conditions were.
The reason why they went with smaller models for the Free Spins is due to saddling issues that they've been dealing with in regards to the Six Flags S&S models.
I will only consider that a boardwalk if Cedar Point at the bare minimum adds some sort of bar / restaurant on it.
But yeah we went through this on the discord. I'm hoping Cedar Point does something with it.
They already have a good bit of space from the removal of the stadium that was between both Windseeker and Wicked Twister. Approximately 83,000 square feet without interfering with other rides. Removing Windseeker would be a bonus for me, tbh.
More likely than Wicked Twister getting relocated, imo.
I don't give the Windseekers much longer, all it's gonna take is a 5 hour unload from the air with those things and the insurance companies will probably freak out about it.
Funny he's going the opposite of where he was last year saying that KD wasn't getting a free spin. Also expecting KD to get "rapid growth" when they've failed with major additions twice since Cedar Fair acquired them is beyond naive, it's borderline stupid.
Don't expect Volcano's replacement announcement just yet. More than likely they will be announcing the Freespin alongside whatever the hell is happening to Avalanche.
Speaking from my experience this past year there's definite cons to being apart of the community if you're involved at a higher level than just going to amusement parks with friends.
I room with another enthusiast and up until recently he regularly invited over other enthusiasts who I either...
It's a simple trespassing agreement. If the park catches them on property they can be criminally charged for trespassing.
There's a few people who I'm aware of that have gotten banned from parks that I have worked at, for a variety of reasons I can't legally disclose from very stupid to very...
