Reading the planning document it makes it sound like a substantial concrete structure will be installed that the ride will sit on. This structure will contain plant equipment and a tunnel to allow guests to move around forbidden valley.
To me that sounds like they are building the floor of the...
To be honest to begin with I really wasn't sold on the veins they reminded me too much of a cheap ghost train but now seeing the track section in place I can see the veins really do take me back to the original Nemesis Logo.
I’m sure the similarity isn’t a coincidence, for that reason alone it...
I would add Shockwave to the mix last time I rode it there was more headbanging than at a 24 hour heavy metal marathon, and the jolt when it hits the brakes is not at all fun for those who aren't expecting it.

Can't post links but the simworx website under products has some pretty nice pics and videos of the system.
The only thing going against the idea is the pit...
Re: Alton Towers | The Smiler | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1
I think it looks like it'll be a solid addition to the Towers. Plenty of forces and head choppers all round.
One thing to remember when watching that POV is its a helmet mounted camera so the jerkiness is not due to dodgy...
