Honestly - I get that it's popular and I understand that it makes business sense, but I hate it.
The soul is literally being sucked out of Chessington - it just seems like creativity is a thing of the past and they have to rely on jarring IP's to fill the void.
Such a shame in my opinion, as...
Given the abundance of flat rides that are available in the market today, I found this addition to be quite boring, bland, and just plain odd.
They've already re-done Nemesis to the exact same specifications as previous with a few new theming elements - why bring back a somewhat lacklustre ride...
Do we have any evidence pointing to a Minecraft theme?
On the one hand I can see the sense in it, but on the other hand, it seems really sad to rip out a fairly well-themed land to replace it with a gimmick.
Money talks 🤑
Probably all of the above - seems like fairly easy fixes to stop something like that from happening again.
I think it will especially be a problem at the start of the season when the weather can be much colder + later in October.
I find the entire marketing campaign for the new attraction somewhat lacklustre.
Outside of the theme park community, I think they've really missed the mark.
Hopefully, once it's open they'll throw the kitchen sink at it, as they really need to - this can't be a cheap machine so they'll need...
I visited Parc Asterix for the first time last year and I thought it was a fantastic park - but you could really tell between their new investments and the older areas.
This is going to be very welcome and bring some of those tired areas up to standard with the rest.
I think there is a hugely...
There is such a huge amount of tech crammed into the ride I'm a little worried about what it's reliability is going to be like in the future 🧐
I know it's Europa and they're all over these things - but still, there is only so much they can control.
It's a very good move for the park to bring an ageing coaster up to date with new trains. It's just a shame the cars look a bit 'scrap-heap challenge' and unfinished, and it's a shame they couldn't stretch to a repaint of the track as it does look in a bit of a sorry state in the pics.
This does look incredible, and something that Europa has needed in the sense of a 'world class' coaster.
Their thrill roller coaster line up is very good, but this looks outstanding.
I'd be willing to put my life savings on the fact that will be a huge Harry Potter aspect to this park. The UK is the home of Harry Potter, and they could do something incredibly special here that would bring Harry Potter fans from around the world to visit it.
I would also argue there will be...
Unless I missed something, I thought it was meant to be themed to cops and robbers?
Would have been a cooler theme in my opinion, and could have worked the mansion into it too.
However, whatever the theme, it is 2 very much needed roller coasters for LW, which should be welcomed with open arms!
They really throw the kitchen sink at their projects - this looks absolutely spectacular!
I have no doubt it will be a worthy successor to the original.
It looks beautiful, but I really think this belongs in Tokyo Disneyland park and not Tokyo Disneysea.
I'm sure they will still be ludicrously popular though!
