I'm not convinced the structure and Zumanjaro are coming down, that information seems a bit hazy, my money is still on the structure and maybe even the track being re-used.
So what you're confirming to us here is that we're getting RMC Kingda Ka?
It's one bombshell after another on this topic - Superman is down too? So of the World's super fast coasters as of a few years ago we have:
Kingda Ka - rumoured to now be permanently closed
TT2 - general disaster
Dodonpa...
As reported here by @TPoseOnTantrum , Six Flags Over Texas have reportedly closed La Vibora, it's already showing as "removed" on rcdb:
https://rcdb.com/99.htm
It originally opened at Magic Mountain in 1984 and is the last of the five Intamin Swiss bobs in the World. I suppose a relocation is...
Hate to be a back-seat mod, but could somebody kindly update the topic title as we've known the name for a while now? :)
PS. I can't wait to see this thing running/duelling
Looks great (although I'm a bit concerned about the throughput) but surely a budget of €2.7m can't be correct - it's got to be at least 3x that for a ride of this scale, over water, right?
It was a fairly modest year for new creds +22 in total but it included 3 huge new entries to my top ten (Hyperia, Wildfire and Zadra) so here's my new-look top 25:
1. Velocicoaster
2. Zadra
3. Iron Gwazi
4. Ride to Happiness
5. Hyperion
6. Wildfire
7. Helix
8. Hyperia
9. Untamed

Thanks all and especially @Serena for a brilliant day, it was great to see some old friends and make some new ones, hope to see you all at the next one 🙂.
Amazing how much is left after nearly 20 years including a bunch of seemingly relocatable rides (Jester, the boomerang, the wild mouse, the Ferris wheel). So are there plans for it to be demolished in the near future?
Yeah they are desperately lacking a kiddie cred - my daughter is 95cm and has 26 creds to her name but there is no coaster at Chessington she can ride, even Thorpe Park has one she can do.
Did they definitely hint at a *roller coaster* with an inversion? I remember a hint at something going upside down but not necessarily a coaster, could be a top spin or something.
I'm still holding out hope for a small GG wooden coaster. Add a new gen top spin plus a filler or two, retheme...
It's a classic for sure but honestly wasn't all that enjoyable, significantly lower quality than the rest of the coasters at the park, so it was a once and done for us. I'd imagine it will be replaced by a flat ride given the plot size.
To be fair, everything published about this project so far has been very one-sided in a positive way, it was only a matter of time before some overly negative stuff starts to be said. The analysis seems pretty vague and unscientific to me, not really looking at all the factors that affect house...
Yeah that would be insane, Paultons have clearly hinted that the new ride will have an inversion, and B&M have never done a hyper with an inversion, think more of a Mack or Intamin hyper 🙂
Eek I got spited by the old twin looper back in 2018, I'm returning this September (mostly for Zadra of course) and now I'm worried I'll get my first ever double spite 😬.
Like you say it's hardly going to be great but I remember watching it run at the American Adventure when I was a kid and...
Doesn't the Shanghai Pirates do something like this?
That's clearly the boat from Moana, and with Moana 2 coming out later this year it would make sense for them to roll out some Moana boat rides, my 3yo would love it.
