The rule of 3 in regards to text is to not use more than 3 font types in the same design. Too many fonts cause it to look chaotic. To be honest 3 is too many in most cases. 2 or less looks better. And those logos in this kind of style are not easily scale able, hence we’ve seen Merlin/thorpe go...

I feel like the travelling fair feel is partially down to Fantasy Islands location though. It is very much a seaside, cheap and cheerful park. It almost feels like a pier park, just not on a pier. The travelling rides don't really look amiss. Lightwater Valley has an entirely different vibe...
