Very nice that Vekoma programmed the rollback as a feature, not as failure with the need to get the people out of the vehicle. Maybe a rollback happens when the block ahead is still blocked. The train is far away from making it over the top, so maybe it was intended? Instead of performing a...
Haha funny. More important is that the launch is not going to happen if the rotation of any seat is not done (and locked) but as this is not an security issue.. why not.
I don't get the discussion. You can see it from the videos that the launch is not intense and also that the pace of the whole ride is not asskickin but rather smooth and family friendly. I talked to the project manager (forgot the name but the same dude who we know from the Taron documentary)...
I remember the Southpark episode with Cartman buying his own theme park to do all the rides himself without any guests. Phantasialand builds a ride for employees only. Very kind!
The first coaster construction I can remember was X in 2001. There were a lot of coaster constructions being documented by enthusiasts or parks in the internet since then, but this is really top notch how boring it is. Still nothing from the park! I am not a marketing specialist but I doubt that...
I am wondering about the piece of broken railroad track pointing to the sky. I guess there will be a storyline explaining what happened there? Or it is all about the visitors imagination. Otherwise I wouldn't share the complains about a lack of details. Details are usually added at the very end...
I made a 35km Inline Skating trip to the park. I approached the park from the nearby neighbourhood , so you skate next to some bourgeois houses and see the Mystery Castle at the end of the road. That unique perspective was actually more interesting than the ugly wall of the new hotel.
I couldn't see any but as it was talking to some workers leaving the construction site and one guy told me that at some point he could see people inside the train.
I was at the park yesterday. It was almost six in the evening but I could see some testrides. The ride is very quiet and the launch is not as noisy as we know it from taron. The first few times I failed to make a video because even a small breeze makes it impossible to hear the train...
Mh no second attraction (at least not yet) and half of the area not used or used for a hotel. Could be better. I am also wondering about this Tschoo-Tschoo-Train. Wasn't that supposed to be a cannon? Interesting is that round area on the right with stairs going down. Maybe something is hidden...
I been following construction sites of amusement park projects online since X in Six Flags Magic Mountain. That was 2001 or something? I need to admit that this one here is the worst ever. It is so boring. Discussions about a WALL and another WALL (this time: steel wall)
No-Photo policy, no...
After they had a marketing campaign with Klugheim claiming several weird "world records" the park should think about to sell the fact that their hotel is higher than the actual coaster! High-Thrill-Hotel! Or whatever.
It seems that the park missed to include some top notch elements into the layout to have enough space for the hotel. The ride will we great for sure, but enormous potential of the whole area is unused.
When this wall is installed there will be NO pictures at all anymore as this place is the only spot to take at least some pictures. When the park continues this strange marketing strategy they will may just announce an opening and then there will be pictures from the finished ride.
I think Phantasialand is more or less making fun about the enthusiasts. First no information at all, then some vague information but still no proper concepts or drawings and NOW finally a model but presented in a way that it is hard to publish it in the internet. Haha. Kind of funny.
The...
