My point with the last sentence was just that there's immense injustice across the world so I don't think Russia getting coasters is exceptionally sad or reason to get upset. Especially when with countries like Russia it's not like it's gonna improve their tourism industry.
I haven't had embarrassing experiences on them yet but I'd be conscious of that too unless I was going with other friends. But as another no-kiddie creds team member checking in; there's also the factor of just fun, aka the same reason I don't go on classic loopers and such if I have any inkling...
I guess it wasn't in this thread that I said it but it's also worth to note that Zamperla shipped an entire park's worth of rides including a Volare to Kaeson Youth Park in Pyongyang yet I think the sanctions are and have been tighter on North Korea for decades than they are on Russia, a couple...
This ride is... Odd. Granted, some of the Eurofighters Gerstlauer has built are also really short in length, but not only is this really really short I'm also confused about the oddly steep lift hill and the fact that it seems to have pretty intense turns but no inversions.
^ Since the closures were announced and they didn't immediately file demolition permits for Ka like they did for GL the coping "NO THEY WILL REOPEN IT!!!" has been insane. Hopefully this will put an end to that.
At least for me when I don't feel anything for a coaster project like it's got a lot to do with whether I actually have a chance in hell to ride the thing.
Idk about anything else but pirate ships are also the only ride that are guaranteed to make me sick, no matter how rested, how fed, how hydrated, if I've ridden anything else that day, I'll always be nauseous coming off a pirate ship. Technical Park Pegasus, HUSS Booster, spinning coasters...
Canada's also a halfway situation iirc even if somewhat officially they're metric, which would make sense given the cultural exchange with the US, I've heard lots of Canadians refer to their own height in feet and inches. Stone seems like a really arbitrary measurement given Google says it's 14...
Not the point remotely but in which country do you measure weight in stones and why
At least pounds (weight) are backed by the most culturally/politically significant country in the world rn.
That from the air photo also gives scale to that ridiculous tower ride? That's a ride, right? It looks like a 20m wide across S&S shot tower.
Anyway I wasn't aware of Spitfire being built, or I'd heard the name but not actually known what it is and I'm curious as to whose bright idea it was to...
^^ OT but those veggie nuggets look like a crime to humanity. I've actually seen that in the UK before, I guess why make imitation chicken meat (really easy) when you could shove some mushy unseasoned vegetables into a crust instead?
^ All the videos I've seen of this feature have it sound like it would be EXTREMELY LOUD in person, high pitched too. Like does this not break your ears when you're actually there? I've been around much smaller tesla coils on ghost trains and such and even those have been unbearably loud, but...
Well now we know (timestamped video). I don't know if Serengeti-Park needs the extra capacity but turns out that part where the train is high off the ground is so that the gondolas can rotate there as well, and they slide to a taller loading floor.
That looks really fun actually and could provide a sensation center of gravity wise only really achievable on Maurer spike coaster rn, except you know, not a weird powered coaster.
