I think I'm gonna have to wait for the official POV to be released to make a final judgement because the quality of that POV probably didn't do the coaster or theming ANY justice - the theming didn't look nearly as good as it does in photos...
I imagine it will start at the station to capture the full experience... Taron's started in the station and although that doesn't have an exciting dark ride section before the launch... I can't work out what I'm trying to say but I imagine they will start it in the station ?
Ok whether you believe me or not when we were on 197 pages yesterday, I wrote a post joking that Phantasialand would open F.L.Y before we reach 200 pages just to troll us and have the thread close before 200 pages...
I now regret not posting that because it was CLEARLY true lmaooo, can't wait...
Oh, right... thanks guys ?
Didn't realise the station was underground and definitely didn't realise there was a dark ride section, thanks for the info... the bit I thought was a lift in 2018 must have just been part of the layout.
Wait... F.L.Y. has a lift hill? I thought I saw one in 2018 but when I realised it was gonna be launched I assumed that it was just a bit of track...
Someone explain please lmao I'm confused ?
Guys can we not *heat* up this fight any more please, we've already had to *deflate* a load of arguments over the past few months.
Sorry, I had to do it, I've been missing all the balloon puns ?
We know there's the staff preview event in just 3 days (maybe 4, can't remember if it's the 7th or 8th lmao), so it's got to be close to completion!
I agree with you saying it could be less than 24 days in advance... I know loads of people here have speculated an 18th September (or 17th...
Damn, we might be coming to the end of the forum... it's been a fun one to follow and I'm gonna miss it ?. Thorpe Park next anyone? I mean, Phantasialand took 4 years so we could start Thorpe's one about 20 years in advance? ?
I imagine we will get a confirmed opening date really soon and then...
Was this completely canceled or has it just not been bought? If it was completely canceled, I wouldn't be surprised if they revisited it in the future with the single rail track design...
Although a fair few of the models are rip-offs of already existing models, I think these versions will still definitely be really successful... Just a few comments to make:
The Hot Racer is quite different in terms of the fact that it has a launch and not a lift hill like the RMC Raptor, I also...
Yeah, seeing as the Raptor hasn't done too well (from what we know, only 3 have been sold so far), it'll be interesting to see how Intamin makes the Hot Racer a successful model. The video I linked at the top of the forum mentioned a launch?
Intamin is very experienced with launches (unlike...
The Raptor hasn't done as well as RMC expected, which is why they put the T-Rex on hold (according to the video). I also think that they wanted to perfect the Raptor before they start selling the T-Rex.
