It was Ed Harts relationship with RMC. That's all gone now.
They can build up to 140 ft max where T3's lift-hill currently stands. That's plenty for a new coaster.
I really hope Herschend doesn't waste that 140 ft on a new show building or praise and worship amphitheater.

Out of all the coasters at Magic Mountain Ninja is my favorite. I love the swinging action, cutting through the log flume, and it's just fun. Unintentionally thrilling layouts are the best because you don't expect it.
Maxx Force and Hyperia are completely different track profiles. Maxx Force has no trims and the profiling accommodates the speed. Hyperia's elements are elongated, the transitions are taken a much lower speed or trimmed.
Lost Island should definitely be adding a new coaster (or two) because a new coaster is marketing. I'm sure they didn't make the decision last minute, it's probably been in the works for a couple years. For all we know the park planned for last year's low attendance numbers, it was still under...
Steel Venom - Possessed - V²
Steel Venom is the clear winner here. The gloriously wonderful holding brake is something else. It really completes the experience.
