thank you so much for this extensive post!
I appreciate the research you did and how you compiled it all together.
I am a huge Japanophile and finally visited the country for the first time in April and May.
The culture, food, people and everything about japan completely enchanted me!
Got to...
bummer I was just there a couple of weeks ago!
I was very pleased to see JAWS and Waterworld still running at Universal Japan!
sad that we lost T2 and Backdraft though!
nice to see a woodie survive once in awhile! I had heard that Regina had gotten pretty rough towards the end of 2019 so hopefully the new trains help. I might actually have to visit in April while in Tokyo. This and an Intamin Megalite will do nicely!
amazing! thank you for the update..
I will be visiting in May for the first time.
Any idea on a timetable for opening of the new coaster?
Also any word on do dodonpa?
I know we all wanted an AXIS or Intamin Blitz or something else completely insane, but this fills out their coaster lineup nicely.
4 Extreme Coasters, 1 Kiddie Coaster, 1 Family Invert and this Launched Intamin will make this park even more accessible to the GP while providing another fun but...
my thoughts exactly.... I think Cedar Fair should be focusing on other parks.. Cedar Point has more than enough great coasters and the fact that people say stuff like this just blows my mind
Hey! Thanks so much for the info! Yeah I think I want to go and check it out even more so if Regina is re-opened by then! Good idea with pairing it with Yomiuriland... definitely gotta get on Bandit and I want to try the Ramen Noodle rapids ride! Cheers!
Exciting news! Thinking about checking this spot out in march when I travel to Japan for the first time. I have heard that the zoo itself is pretty run down and entry to the park is a little expensive. For anyone that has visited.. is it worth the price and train ride to / from Tokyo?
I am going to Japan in march 2023 and was thinking the same thing. Will probably not be able to make it to this park because its so far from Kyoto. Kind of having similar thoughts about Tobu Zoo while I am in Tokyo. I may have to go if Regina is reopened... that and Kawasemi seem to be good...
It would be cool to see someone swoop in and buy the land and keep the park around! It is already a stronger park than discovery kingdom! With one more marquee coaster it would have one of the better top 3's out there!
such sad news. I live in Hawaii and was planning on going their eventually, so it looks like I will need to accelerate those plans. Is Goldstriker not relocatable? I have heard that it is a top tier woodie so it would be a shame if it was just scrapped.
wow! really cool that this coaster got relocated and is looking so nice! I hope to visit it march 2023 if I can get my Japan trip together!
Hakugei, Eejanaika, and Flying Dinosaur are my most anticipated!
My best was May 2021 at Islands of Adventure. We arrived at the park not knowing whether or not Velocicoaster was going to be "soft opened" or not. Needless to say having it been our first trip to Florida we ran directly to the back of the park once it opened. When we passed through the back of...
