I'm sorry It's cos I've already been 4 times this year... I don't know what to write about it anymore!
You just need to use a bit of imagination?
Photographs also help.
I've had a quick look, I don't post many Alton reports any more; when I do, I try to set a theme though.
Most of it is completely fabrication (don't want to dispel any myths that my life is one life -long jape here, but it isn't outside of my head
). I just take photos, and get a kind of "hook" in my head for the trip report. Sometimes it's on the day, sometimes later when looking at the photos.
Interesting little fun things stick, and I then play on them and make them bigger than life, and much more important than they ever were.
Your fasttrack story here is dull, but if you'd played on it, with some photos and made it a "theme of the day", then it may (I say may, it might not) have made the trip report something much more interesting. A little imagination can go a long way.
I looked back at my previous trip reports, and four of them are Halloween trips. All are pretty identical to be honest (the park doesn't change that much each year). So I just grab a slightly different approach to writing the report each time.
Examples (or 'shameless plug' as it's also known in Ollie circles):
