Omg, this is great news! This park ain't far from Walibi World, and it only has a standard Rollerskater and Schwartzy looper, so to get something like this is unbelievable.

Yep, it's certainly unbelievable alright!

iSpeed was ok, but this would undoubtedly be a big jump for the park. Really big jump.

That layout isn't an iSpeed clone by the way.

Looks a lot like it.

I'm pretty sure those are old plans, so don't get your hopes up just yet!

It could be that they just now are ready to built it?
I mean, Parques Reunidos just brought the whole park.

Layout wise, the only thing in the same place as iSpeed is the launch and tophat, the rest is different, though it does include similar elements (in-line twist etc).

Ok, I got it a bit wrong. The position of that in-line threw me, but still, it is different. The MCBR comes back on itself on this one, then there's an extra in-line, so it is different. And this doesn't have the quirky little 'S' bend at the bottom of the tophat.

Wow. For such a small park to get a coaster like this, big, big step up. I wish some other smaller parks who can afford bigger rides take note.

Slagharen might be a small park, but it does get a lot of visitors on a year basis.
I thought I had read somewhere a few months ago that Slagharen had the second most visitors of The Netherlands (next to Efteling but even more than walibi).

If there really is going to be an iSpeed "clone", that would be great news for me, since I live little under an hour away from Slagharen.

Edit: I did a quick search and found that in 2009 Slagharen was indeed the second most visited park of The Netherlands and the third most visited attraction.
1: Efteling, 4 milion visitors
2: Boat tours through Amsterdam, 2.8 milion visitors
3: Slagharen, 1.6 milion visitors

^ I remember reading about that, and I think it comes pretty high up on some list for best family park too...

Wow, this is great news! :--D This looks like an improved version of iSpeed where they've removed the s-bend after the tophat, replaced the italian loop with a real immelman and tweaked some of the turns. Should be a great ride! :)

I dont know whether this helps this rumour or not, but their park webite has info on 4 rides that are being removed after this year:

But on the other hand, apparently, the park have confirmed that they're adding 5 new rides next year... an iSpeed clone and 4 other rides seems a bit too much for such a small park IMO...

I said it before, and I say it again, these are old plans from the former owners.
Parques Reunidos will most likely not add a 15 million euro investment to this park, the first year they operate it. And they will most likely focus on families, witch are what this park gets most of.
