I have searched and can't find a topic like this.(correct me if I'm wrong)
What is your favourite ride music?
Mine is probably Nemesis Inferno, followed by Collosus. :)

Space Mountain Disneyland's Onride Music. Absolutely love how it can transform an otherwise tame Arrow layout into a pretty awesome and immersive ride.

Led Zeppelin: The Ride had some pretty sweet onride music in my opinion :)

So does Hollywood RRR, especially with the hidden songs you can access. Stockholm Syndrome.. nuff said.

^^Reminds me of the music from Mars Attacks. :p
I like the DLRP Space Mountain soundtrack the best though. :)

Absolutely love it!!

Gotta love "it's a small world" and it wins for most catchy!

X2 had a good soundtrack for the ride as well...

Such a fanboy.

I've got nothing to hide. I wear my Cedar Fair V.I.P. windbreaker with pride!

I don't see the music for Dragster as "ride music" though; it's an already existing song that the park have just dumped onto the ride. It fits really well, and I personally love that song, but I don't listen to it and think of Dragster. Ride music to me means music that has been specifically written for the ride.

My all time favourite is the soundtrack for Sindbad's Storybook Voyage at Tokyo DisneySea. It's written by Alan Menken who does the music for the Disney films and it's **** ing epic It just keeps building and building as the ride goes on:

Hex! Obviously. Just make sure Brad and his phone stay outside ;)

Some of you may not have seen the interview I did with the composer, Crispin Merrell. You can still read it here: http://www.coasterforce.com/ontrack/OnTrackMay10.pdf

My other favourite has to be, without a doubt, Troy! (TROY!)

Villa Volta is good too, but its no Hex.

The soundtrack for Hex is pretty epic, but my favourite has to be the on ride audio from the original Space Mountain de la Terre ala Lune at DLP..

And the video of them making is even better, shows just how much effort was put into it.

I think I have only been on 3 rides that I can remember that have ride music; Nemesis, The Flume and Kumali. My favourite out of them has to be Kumali.

^Another example of "non ride music" ride music.

Honestly, I think it's an American thing. Outside of Disney, you guys just generally don't have park/ride music. You just get random rock/pop music blasted all over the parks and think it's the same thing.

I really like the soundtrack to nemesis inferno, it's like Merlin have just taken nemesis's theme tune (which is almost as good :) ) and made it more awesome!
